Girl, We Need to Talk… about CHRISTMAS!

A special Christmas episode just released wherever you get your podcasts!

We know it’s been forever and a day since we posted anything, but we’re coming back to you!

In this special ep, we cover some more Christmas songs we love and some not so much (Dang you Jingle Bells!) Christmas movies and nostalgia, and of course:

We also wanted to showcase all of the local businesses in our area- we had originally wanted to list them in the show, but as we kept going, we realized it was an almost impossible task!

GWNTT'ers! We miss you! We wanted to stop in and say thank you! Thank you so much for listening to our coverage of Season 4 of Yellowstone and for showing us so much support! We will be back soon to cover another series! We will begin posting updates very soon......

Friends, we're here

We made it.

We laughed, we cried, we got annoyed with Jamie and Monica- You guessed it, 's Season 4 Finale- and oh what a finale it was!

So Aleta starts off by discussing #1883 and a "bonus" episode on the making of the show, called "The Road West"- which can be found on Plus, if you all are so inclined- Check it out- We cannot recommend the new series enough! What is doing with the historical figures and facts from that period of time is incredible and we discuss as much.

Then Aleta and Krystle dive into the finale--Rip's heart to heart with Beth brings her as close to an apology as we think she will ever get; Kayce goes on his quest for a vision; and of course, Jaimie Jaimies.

We see flashes of Kayce's suffering and later his visions (which are scary) dispersed between scenes of Summer's plight (the judge comes down with some harsh sentencing later in the episode), and Beth, *Spoilers* being found out by Caroline of Market Equities (As we've said in the past, has Beth met her match? Is Caroline going to be the one to bring her down?)

Jimmie has a run in with old flame Mia, who is apparently back at the bunkhouse for some reason, freaking out because Jimmie introduces Emily as his fiance-Mia is quick to throw a tantrum, but Emily holds her own. At some point, Jimmie points out to Mia what we've all been saying all season "You don't work here!" We were so happy to see Emily lay her out ya'll. And just so happy for Jimmie in general- we'll be out here waiting for the spin off any time, TS.

Beth also finds out that Jaimie had visited the guy who ordered the hit in prison, and decides to go after him once and for all....which leads to a very sad fate (or is it?) for Jaimie's bio dad.

Kayce ends up telling Monica : "I saw the end of us" WHAAA?

And guys, we have the of the century, between Beth and Rip- perfection!

Gwntters!

We are prolonging this as long as possible! Just a little something to make Yellowstone last for just a tad bit longer!

Join us as we recap and cover season 4, episode 9. Originally we thought we'd cover 9 & the finale as a double ep, but after watching both eps, we knew that was Just. Not. Possible.

SO here we are- episode 9, we're still going through it with the sudden (SPOILERS) loss of Sheriff Donnie, but guess what gang, there's a new sheriff in town, and we called it- seems like he's not going to be allowing any shenanigans to continue!

Aleta points out all of the interesting symbolism regarding the wolf and Kayce, which we've discussed before, and we go into the vision quest that Kayce is planning on embarking on.

We also discuss: some real anger from Beth regarding the safety of her father, Summer's plight and possible dismal future in the prison system, John's morality in fighting their fights, and of course- Jaimie and the changing dynamic between Christina and his father.

Today the girls are dishing about “No Kindness for the Coward.” Which did anyone catch the connection with the title??

Krystle and Aleta discuss Rip seeming wildly uncomfortable moving into the Lodge. Aleta is back on the “hating Jaime” bandwagon for all of his whining in the beginning of the episode. Krystle mentions her concerns about Monica’s big reveal this week. “Tantric Supper” may be one of their favorite scenes this season. And how neither of the girls saw what was coming at the end of the episode.

No. One. Was. Ready.

The girls also discuss Jefferson White’s new podcast: The Official Yellowstone podcast. Which is great…and everyone should check out. But Krystle and Aleta are both a little salty that they weren’t chosen to be co-hosts. And Krystle also brings up a brand new, very interesting, theory given to her by one of the listeners.

We cover (finally!) the infamous knife scene- Lloyd's fate, the bunkhouse girls finally getting gone, and how Jimmy is doing so far in his stint at the 6666 ranch. Also...how much are belt buckles really worth??

We also couldn't NOT talk about:

SPoileRs-The Return of Avery! Monica being a big ol raincloud so far this season, how sweet the scenes are between Tate & Dog, and the softer side of Beth. Also, we gush as always over the beautiful scenes and scenery- Aleta has now added Texas onto her list of places to visit.

Ho Ho Ho Y’all! 🎄🎄

We are taking a break this week, because , so next week we’ll have another double ep ready to go!

We covered this in a previous episode. His sentence was now changed from death penalty to now, life in prison.

Scott Peterson, who was convicted of killing his pregnant wife Laci Peterson and their unborn baby in 2002, was re-sentenced Wednesday to life in prison.

Girl, We Need to Talk about Yellowstone! Episodes 4 AND 5 of Season 4!

Ok, can we just say that we (at the moment) love what is developing with the show right now?
The 6666 Ranch, the scenery (as always), and the new faces! Caroline of Market Equities, who is played by Jackie Weaver- we recognize her from Birdbox and Silver Linings Playbook, Summer-the amazing Piper Perabo! Coyote Ugly anyone??—How is that movie 21 years old??!

However, we do not like what is going on with Lloyd. It's pretty much tearing Krystle's heart to pieces.

Join us as we recap the last two episodes, covering all the major happenings (SPOILERS) like did we call Jamie's dad or what? Can Lloyd just get over Laramie already? Can Mia leave already?

We also get into, of course, what is happening with Market Equities, Beth with her vendetta, Monica & Kayce leaving the ranch, and how we're actually softening towards Jaimie.

Girl, We need to talk about Yellowstone, Season 4, Episode 3: "All I See Is You"

Ok- so let's get something straight-

In this episode we refer to a couple of actors who we couldn't place-

The first- Mark Pellegrino from American Rust- his instagram handle has "rosspelle" in the name, hence Krystle's weird name reference to Mark Paul Gosselaar (Yeah it's a stretch).

Second- the actress that plays Mia is Eden Brolin- the daughter of prolific actor Josh Brolin, and of course, her famous grandfather, James Brolin (who, yes, is married to Babs herself, Barbara Streisand). Kudos to you Eden, you're a great actress, which is why we dislike your character as much as we do!

Mayor of Kingstown is the new show on Peacock Plus that they've advertised heavily on commercials between Yellowstone, American Rust was on Showtime, and the podcast that Aleta refers to about the cult in Lake City is "You didn't Ask-The Podcast"-check it out!!

Ok, so we do actually recap the Yellowstone episode too- discussing our mutual disdain for Monica & Mia, Moe's surprise (SPOILERS) family, and the haters talking about the show being boring- hey, there were guns a blazing in the beginning of the show haters, don't come at us!

We also get to see a softer side of Walker, which was nice, since he's really starting to get under Lloyd's skin. Jimmy gets sent off with Travis and the crew down to Texas, and Beth realizes that maybe things aren't as they seem with Carter.

I don’t know about y’all, but I am a huge fan of Mo.

Moses Brings Plenty is a gifted musician, actor, model, and former member of the award-winning musical group Brule’ where he contributed his traditional drumming and singing to several of Brule’s songs live and on record. He is Cheyenne River Sioux and grew up on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He is a stage and screen actor, horse stuntman, and producer, and is best known for his role as "Mo" on the hit series "Yellowstone"

For the love of all things holy, please tell us you tuned in to the Season 4 premiere of Yellowstone…If you didn’t…what are you doing with your life?!

So much to discuss, so little time…

We talk about…How Beth’s makeup artists deserve some kind of award. How Forrie J Smith (Lloyd) is a national treasure. What Kayce could be hunting looking like some kind of camo Sasquatch. How we both want to hug Carter. How Rip carrying a cooler may be the most badass thing we’ve seen in a while. And how John Dutton is literally the Worst. Patient. Ever.

And Aleta even attempts to teach us a little something about the horse world…even though, admittedly, she knows very little.
