This was such a great conversation with Bonnie Pyles from Wild West Air and Heating.

She shared with me about their business philosophies in a world where people are so quick to compromise their integrity to make a dollar. We also talked about their new nonprofit program that they started to help certify and teach kids who have aged out of the foster system to help give them a great start to life with hands on training that may not be available to them otherwise.

Please visit their websites for more information or to make a donation to help a few kids get some education -

If you're in the East Valley area of Phoenix, AZ and need some A/C service or repair they have 24/7 service. In the off season they also install Christmas lights, so you don't have to!

Let’s talk about boundaries, self awareness and battling your personal demons for a minute.

Our lives are made up by a series of choices. Unless someone is physically forcing you to do something, you ALWAYS have a choice.

When you make a choice that compromises your personal morals, integrity and values because of what another person says or does, it’s still on you.

You made a choice, you acted on that choice, even though you knew it was wrong, at some point, you HAVE to take responsibility for your actions. If you don’t, you will never be able to fully understand what it means to have personal accountability, and those demons will continually whisper in your ear that you’re a horrible person, (if they don’t, you may have a personality disorder).

What you can’t do is blame someone else 💯 for your actions.

You can’t convince anyone else of your innocence when you don’t believe it yourself.

You will never have self confidence because you’ll always feel like you’re wearing your guilt on the outside for everyone to see.

People make mistakes, and it’s ok to admit that.

The sooner you come to terms with that, the sooner you can admit it, forgive yourself, and move on.

The key is to learn your lesson from whatever mistake you made.

You did something.

Own it.

Figure out what the lesson was, face the consequences of your actions, and try like hell to never make the same mistake again.

In the process, seek help from a counselor if you find yourself acting out, or self medicating with alcohol or drugs. That stuff never helps the situation and only causes you to make more bad choices.

On this episode I'm talking to Chuck Roberts who was my best friend all through high school. We were recently catching up and he mentioned some of the horrible things he went through as a kid before being adopted at the age of 15. I never knew his story and he was willing to share with everyone how he survived all of that trauma.

Sometimes being from a small town, we feel like everyone knows our story, and that's just not true. Listen as we have some revelations about life and what we thought we knew.

On this episode I am talking to Heather Rodriguez of Sourdough Mafia Co. She talks about her love of business, and how she's helping people learn the art of baking sourdough bread with her virtual classes.

I love that you can go at your own pace, and there's also a growing community and ongoing support for the questions and techniques that you can learn as you get more seasoned in baking. I've personally learned that working with sourdough starter is a little different than regular cooking and baking, and while it can be a bit challenging at times, the reward is some great tasting homemade food!

It’s one of the most popular episodes so far, and so informative about type 1 diabetes. Give it a listen, subscribe for future episodes, and make sure to check the show notes to see how you can help the Diabetic Wellness Initiative in their quest to help type 1 kids at schools.

Today I had the pleasure of talking to John Leitch. John is the parent of a type 1 diabetic child and during our conversation we talked about his son Nico’s diagnosis, and how that changed their daily lives. For more information on Type 1 diabetes...
