The year that really feels like 30 😅 ifykyk
Some thoughts I’ve had along the way. .

1.) Love & Respect yourself, unconditionally.
2.) Cherish your family-they’re all you got.
3.) Travel & see the world. No shame if it’s a budget flight. Just go!
4.) Don’t wait on people to experience new things.
5.) Forgive people & move on. Yesterday is in the past.
6.) Own your shxt. You can’t blame everyone for your own misfortune.
7.) Make time for your friends. They are your village.
8.) Let people love you-you deserve it. You’re wiser now.
9.) You do in fact have food at home.
10.) Sit down somewhere sometimes. Mama was right.
11.) Never stop learning. Keep reading. Keep growing.
12.) Laugh out loud! Let em stare!
13.) Life is worth living .
14.) You are your sister’s keeper, not her mother.
15.) Just listen. An open mind & heart is sometimes all people need.
16.) Be kind. Not everyone has cruel intentions.
17.) Take care of yourself. Physically. Mentally. Spiritually. This is the only body you got. Love it dearly.
18.) Don’t wait for them to call. Be persistent and show people you love them even if it’s not reciprocated all the time.
19.) Kill your pride and ego. Sometimes 2 steps back will propel you 10 steps forward.
20.) Get a damn budget and stay yo ass off Amazon. Ain’t no deals! It’s always prime time to save beloved.
21.) Prioritize your health. Exercise even when you’re not motivated. Fuel your body properly. You’re an adult. Fr fr.
22.) It’s okay not to like your job all the time. Don’t run at the first sign of discomfort. Sit in it. Learn to speak up. Be professional.
23.) Be on your own timeline. This is YOUR life. No one else’s.
24.) Trust in God. He has always been beside you.
25.) Give your parents a break. This is their first time on Earth too you know?
26.) Love your hair. Own it. Even if you don’t like the attention it brings all the time. You’re beautiful, let the world see you.
27.) Love is not meant to be tough. Love is patient and kind. Cherish it.
28.) Be polite. Ask people how they’re doing. You’re not being nosey.
29.) Sing more. You’re less anxious when you sing.
30.) Be confident. I mean look at you!

This was also such a quick DIY. We got two 13” foam pumpkins from Target, a pencil to trace, black marker, knife, and stapled an old mesh black shirt for the inside. ($40)
