Insomnia the Gaming Festival -

Wow! What a FANTASTIC day yesterday! I'm a noob gamer who managed to meet irl with some great people I've met in the gaming community over the last 18months for the first time. I am still on a high. I enjoyed every second from watching the pro gamers, listening to girlie creators and their stories (I just need to get out if my comfort zone and press that go live button!), trying out the latest games before anyone else and obviously spending time with people who have supported and encouraged me from the beginning. If anyone gets the chance to go to one I would definitely recommend it 💛

Peanitt is the father of the SFPO gang. He started it to make a family of gamers who enjoy playing games, chilling, chatting and just simply having fun. He was one of the first streamers I came across when I started gaming back when he played Vigor.

He's a great gamer and streamer who always makes me feel welcome whether it's within his stream chats or in a game with him. He's patience with me and teaching me how to play.

Love it when I get a level up...feels like I'm actually improving in this gaming journey of mine...however, a very wise gamer has told me not to worry too much about what level I am... I quite often say "oh I'm only a baby level 10" or "it's going to take me FOREVER to get to that level" and quite often put myself down as I'm usually 300 odd levels behind everyone I play with... but I'm having fun and for a relatively still new CoD gamer I don't think I'm doing too bad 😆

💕Happy Anniversary DTB nation and DTB Gaming 💕

I'm afraid to say it's been a whole year since I entered the chat room of a streamer who was streaming the one and only game I'd ever played.

It was a fun night, trying to get in encounters with some boosted loot.... to only get in the last one. I was happily running around with my loot and the sparedrop, only to have it taken away by being done in by a member of DTB nation 🤣(looking at you Mr Pizzaman!)

Fast forward a year....ive dipped my toes into various games and i'm definitely more confident at trying games, although I still have the occasional doubts in my talent.

Through DTB nation I've met some of the most amazing likeminded gamers who are always there to support me through my gaming journey and irl. I've gone from a shy little gamer, hiding in chat to someone who pops up in 99.9% of streams, someone you can't shut up and even given trust of owning ban hammers (so you better all behave now 🤣🤣) 💛

I love each and every member of DTB nation from the older gang who were here WAAAAAY before me and the newer ones who are yet to find out what a pain and smell I am (I am literally everywhere 🤣)

I can't wait to see what happens during the next year!

A year ago today I picked up a controller to play a game called Vigor...from here I would meet the best bunch of people I know 💛 ive certainly had my highs and lows but what an amazing year its been. Still learning as i play and taking all the bad gaming days with the good (hey even the best gamers have bad days) I would certainly say I've become more.confident as a gamer over the year....I wonder what this year will entail...
