Lavwa koltar est un magazine féministe collectif –mensuel ouvert à tous les contributeurs, sans distinction de sexe. Nos écrits visent à fournir des récits contre-hégémoniques sur les luttes des femmes, la classe ouvrière et les opprimé.es- à déclencher une réflexion provocatrice dans différents domaines de la société pour contribuer à l'éducation populaire. Lavwa koltar est forcément anti-communaliste, anti-homophobe et antifasciste.

Le magazine est disponible en trois langues: créole, anglais et français. Avec un double sens, lavwa koltar pourrait signifier la voix de la rue ou prendre la rue des opprimés.
