In a recent conversation, popular media personality Nedu shared a surprising story about the vast difference in how two Nigerian music superstars were treated by a show organizer in Dubai. He recalled" I was with a friend of mine over there, and though I won’t mention his name, he told me how the organizers literally knelt down, pleading with Wizkid to perform for $200,000 at just one show. Can you imagine? But at the same time, another major artist, who I’ll keep unnamed, was offered only $80,000 for three shows."

Nedu further explained, "Years ago, they were chasing Wizkid, offering him N32 million, and he flat out refused. He said he wouldn’t take a dime less than N40 million. Meanwhile, the other artist got significantly less for multiple performances. It just shows how differently they’re valued!"
