Earlier this week I was awarded the "FPV pilots to watch" nomination by Airvuz 😍 check it out ❤️ i respect AirVuz a lot so their recognition means the world to me. Getting validated by the premiere drone and aerial cinematography platform was one of my biggest ambitions when I started all this. I consider this a first step in that direction and it makes me incredibly proud. Next up: "pilot of the month" 😍🤣

The other day, I went on a super cool FPV drone shoot. When I got home, it turned out all GoPro footage was corrupted. But as it turned out, it wasn't. How I fixed it:

Imagine coming home from a super cool shoot and you are unable to export your GoPro files using ReelSteady Stabilization because your GoPro files are corrupted. But are they really corrupted?

It all started with 'some dude' asking for a cable for his DJI goggles. I tried to help him out. Fast forward a couple of months: that 'some dude' has now become one of my dopest clients and I'm on the road with him and his team in Northern Portugal. Instead of filming the trip themselves, I have now become their FPV pilot for the trip (and others to come). This is just a quick look of what it's like to be out there and racing across the vast offroadness in Portugal. Absolutely loving this!

It was may 2019 when I got my first FPV drone. Soon after I first flew it, I realized that this thing was the answer to what I wanted to do with my life. These things would give me the joy that life is all about. One of the lofty goals I set myself right then and there is to one day work for a brand like Red Bull. Two and a half year later, it happened. I got a call, not only asking me to fly at one of their events but work with world class athletes and bring their performances to the masses from a spectacular perspective. I'm not sure I can express what being validated as an FPV pilot by a brand like Red Bull (a personal favorite of mine no less) means to me. Check out the video to see what I got up to and watch in awe just HOW FREAKING QUICKLY these guys and gals hit that track! That was INCREDIBLE! What a day!

For the better part of 2020 I flew the same freestyle drone that was highly designed around my personal preferences and flight style but even though she was near-perfect, there is room for improvement. I've spent the past 2 months coming up with an improved version while not trading in any of the good parts. The other day I went out to give this new formula a chance for it to live up to my expectations. It absholutely killed it. This thing is even better than last year's build. Can't wait to take this thing to a bando to REALLY put it through its paces... Watch this space.

This place is outrageous. In just a couple of hours my 'excellent fleet of drones' was reduced to 'scrap metal'. Well not exactly BUT none of them still flew at the end of the day... But important lessons were learned! Will go back to confirm my findings! If i'm right, the next video there is going to be nucking futs!

Earlier this year Howest contacted me, asking to shoot some footage they could use in their online presence to show off their numerous beautiful campuses to potential new students to give them a better understanding of where they'd be attending their studies. I ended up shooting 6 full days in pretty much every campus I think Howest has on offer. The end result? A MOUNTAIN of footage that I was so immense, I could never actually make a selection of good shots. Until a couple of days ago when I finally put my mind to it. The end result: 100 seconds to see (glimpses of) pretty much every campus of Howest. What do you think?
