As those who follow this page know Mr. Binge is all about film & television, however when I'm not watching a show I am on YouTube! Yes if you look closely there are some cool things on You Tube! In the last couple months I have been obsessed with a music reaction channel called "Rob Squad Reactions" were every day this couple review a song usually done by a artist they have never heard before. Our latest Prime Time Binge (PTB) was "I Am The Night" (This limited suspense drama is inspired by true events, telling the tale of teenager, who was given away at birth.) We found this six part series a great journey into a young girls search of were she came from. Though we wouldn't say it was GREAT it definitely enticed us to watch to see how it would play out! Which of course makes it bingeable! Over the last few weeks I selected for my (LNB) Late Night Binge a TV show that lots of people said was a must see "The Walking Dead" I reluctantly thought I would give it a try. I was NOT SURPRISED it was very violence and had a lot of extreme gore! But I WAS SURPRISED at how well the characters were developed and I found myself anxious to watch how they would survive the next ever changing crisis! Before I knew it I had binged several seasons and was enjoying it! Unfortunately or luckily by season four the plot-line and gore deteriorated to the point I stopped caring about the characters! So would I recommend binging "The Walking Dead" If you think you can handle the over the top violence YES I reluctantly recommend watching the first three seasons! Over the last week our Prime Time Binge (PTB) has been the TV series "Chance" A neuropsychiatrist is drawn into a world of mistaken identity, corruption and mental illness. This show tries be a modern version of Film Noir doesn't quite work but because of the outstanding performance by Hugh Laurie( best known from the TV show House) it draws you in, therefore we would recommend binging! Over the last week our Prime Time Binge (PTB) has been "Fargo" the TV series! (In this anthology series inspired by the 1996 film, each season follows a mostly new cast of characters who get involved with murder investigations in different Midwestern towns, with seemingly unrelated crimes sometimes being connected in some way) I loved the movie and now I'm happy to say I LOVE the TV series! We have watched the first season and now half way through the second! The first is great, the second is even better so far! The series is so well done it moved near the top of the TV shows we've binged this year! Mrs. Binge likes it, but doesn't love it like I do.
