Remember I went to (School of Media) to improve my content creation skills. It was not a small matter o. I actually thought once I learn about YouTube I am out Beth guys that’s how I found myself learn about film making o.
They even gave us a project to make a short film it was no small joke as they said human being will not graduate without making the film o. Anyways my God was bigger we pulled through. Check out the BTS in my next post.

One of my greatest weaknesses in business is networking with people.
I find it very difficult to reach out.
In my head it looks like an inconvenience or an invasion of privacy so I avoid it hundred percent. Plus shyness will not finish my head.
But as a person in business networking is a huge skill you need to succeed.
I have been fighting and struggling to admit it. Until I did recently.
Does that make me inadequate, NO.
I believe it gives me an advantage to know what to work on and also to find a solution to it.
So whether you are a business owner or professional admitting to your weakness is the very first step to getting a solution.

3 Reasons why you are not growing as a social media manager:

1. You are not ready to leave your comfort zone: The fear of the unknown that keeps us from reaching for the stars. The what ifs that has us rooted in a spot. That’s what I am talking about here. What we don’t know is that once you push through the initial fear of leaving, you begin to step into your potential. Start by challenging yourself, being more spontaneous, and looking for opportunities to learn.

2. You are not ready to pay the price for growth; sleepless nights, discomfort, leaving your house, etc: Trust me the body is always willing and the spirit is always weak. If your refuse to discipline yourself you might forever be stuck. Even if slow and steady wins the race. Remember the hare could have gotten there in minutes if he had not stopped to rest.

3. You are comfortable with your current situation: Yeah, the money is good, the clients are the best. But what happens to challenging yourself further. Once you plateau, you plateau. Nobody cares cause another hero will rise and take your place.

So need an encouragement to keep pushing? There you have it. Here’s to growth.

Got a goal you want to achieve on social media or in life?
Drop the entitlement, work for it till seats get prepared for you.

Your page is not growing : What have you done to improve it, stop blaming algorithms.
Your engagement has dropped: What are you doing to improve it, Stop claiming you are shadowbanned (there is nothing like shawdowbanning)
You need customers: Have you ran ads? Or do you think it’s only by posting to your 133 followers?
You need a job as a social media manager: have you been applying regularly or you just send one and leave it. Are you developing yourself while waiting? Or you expect the job to come magically?
Come off it, start preparing seats for yourself, so you can have seats prepared for you.

Come with me let’s take a deep look at the minds of your target audience
Your target audience is on a different wave
They probably are not interested in what your regular consumers are interested in.

Remember, you are after getting leads for the brand you are working with.

Take time to put yourself in your audience shoes and give them what they are looking for

- They would want to know how you are taking care of their business
- They will want to know the capabilities of those incharge of their account
- They will want to see the magic you have made overtime for your clients

Here are some contents you can create to get the attention of brands

- Strategy session
- Nuggets or industry insights from people handling their brands
- Past works you have done for others
- Awards you have won
- Results you achieved
- Clients review

Remember the first 9 posts on your page has to be strategically written to attract the right audience.
