📢Development this, development that, development who?
What is development? And who is it for? In this episode we are joined by Tobi Gessler (Swiss) and Erisa Nesimi (Albanian) to discuss what development has meant for Albania since the fall of communism in 1992 to the present.
📌Along the way, we untangle the narratives surrounding development, the systems of powers that enable it, and their motivations behind it. Albania has been a recipient of a steady stream of development aid for the last 30 years, though it still remains a mystery to many, raising questions about transparency, and accountability.
