Stobi / Стоби welcomed first visitors that used the Immersium mobile application

They walked on the path of Emperor Theodosius and with an interactive guide (short games, quizzes, reconstructions) on the mobile phone experienced the daily life of the inhabitants of Stobi from the end of the 4th century AD. (388 AD to be exact)

The participants were welcomed by Spase Perovski, director of Stobi; Dimitar Nikolovski, archeologist at Stobi; Aleksandar Melamed, representative of EU delegation and Milan Tanceski from Center for social innovation Blink 42-21.

From today until November 25, we invite you in Stobi and let's dive into our rich history!

👉 The app is a mixture of a tourist guide, a quiz and an adventure game 🎲 Come to Viminacium, take the role of an unnamed hero ⚔️, explore the site 🧭, solve various puzzles 🧩 and help us this ancient city 🏛

📅 A special tours using the app are organized every day this week (7th – 13th of November).
⏰ The tours start at 13:00 h at the souvenir shop.
The app is currently available only in English.
📲 To use the app you need a smartphone with operating system Android or iOS and remember to charge your phone device 🪫🔋.

📣IMMERSIUM APP is officially available for Viminacium Arheološki park/ Archaeological park
The team of the Arheološki institut, Beograd, led by Snežana Golubović, the director of the Institute, Ivan Bogdanović and Ljubomir Jevtović held an opening ceremony at Archaeological Park Viminacium. They spoke about the project, its accomplishments, the APP and the future.
We wish to thank many officials, representatives of cultural institutions and media from Serbia, as well as over 40 cultural heritage experts from the entire region and Europe for participating in the event 🙌
Oh, and we have prepared a special surprise for you in Viminacium next week. 🤫
