I just want to let everybody know the Yuma Police Department has been notified to release my brother's property to us because the case was over now. so I called down to ypd to find out how to go about getting his things. First they told me it was all destroyed , Mikey's cell phones, backpack and tools. And obviously I got really pi**ed off at them and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. Then they told me that an officer Welch had custody of that property and he's got a while, when he's ready, to release the property. I then explain to them and reminded them that my brother is not a suspect in this case,
HE WAS FU***NG KILLED AND IS THE VICTIM in it!! I Informed them they have no right to be holding onto that property when the judge ordered a release and they have no right to be going through any of the information without a search warrant , which we never received. I then told them "if I don't get the property soon I'm going to file theft charges against the officers involved and I wanted to talk to either the Watch Commander or the Chief!!" So they took down my information and said they would have somebody contact me back shortly. okay mind you they told me that that officer was not on duty today, but somehow he then was on duty and called me back. I explained to him my worries and he told me " the reason he's holding on to them is he needed to make sure who the owners of the phones were" so now I'm even getting more frustrated and I tell the officer "he had multiple phones and they weren't connected but he used them for music." The officer replied by telling me that "they collected multiple phones from multiple people at the scene." I then informed him that his statement makes no sense. If they took phones from Witnesses, then there should be no need verifying whose phone is who because they should have people's names connected to each of the phones. He tells me that "I don't understand and they just need to find out which phones go to which people before he can release the phones to me. Now I'm livid and because of the way we've been treated from the beginning of this I am done with their bu****it!!!!! So I respond by asking him if he is informing me that his fellow officers are so poorly trained, that they do not know how to collect evidence from people and attach their names to said evidence, that he truly believes they are that inadequate at their job. Which in my opinion is the only thing that make sense out of what he's saying. Officer Welch then tells me he does not have the time for me to chew him out and hangs up on me . I am telling you people that there are dirty cops in the Yuma Police Department and they don't care and that they are rubbing it in my family's face.
I really need your help people! I'm begging you all, if you have a minute in your day to help me with this Injustice going on, we've been treated so poorly already this entire time by the Yuma Police Department. We need to let them know we're not going to take this crap anymore and I personally promise that I'm going to keep fighting to to try to make sure that none of you have to be treated like this!!!
So if you would please call The Yuma Police Department and express your feelings and thoughts on what I just told you happened when I tried to retrieve my brother's property from YPD and Officer Welch and what their statements to me was. Let them know they need to release the property to us RIGHT AWAY!!! and that their excuse of incompetent officers, not knowing how to take evidence, which is the only thing that makes sense from what he's saying, is not a valid excuse to withhold victims properties!!!
If you know anybody in the local media contact them and let them know what's going on and maybe they can bring this BS into the light and into the public eye faster than I can. I'm asking you all for help and I really mean it!! We've been through enough!!! we don't deserve to be treated like criminals when we are the victims.

please call and just let them know how you feel about what I just told you . And what it would do to you if this was happening to yourself! Okay here's a breakdown of everything that has happened since since my baby brother was killed, of everything that YPD has done for us or should I say to us .
I just want to remind you all,

1- since my baby brother was taken from us, my mother, still to this day, has not received a single call from the Yuma Police Department!

2- the only time we were contacted Buddy Yuma Police Department with the night my brother was taken and we were told nobody else was involved it was a mechanical failure. We had to find out from social media and the news that it was a hit-and-run and later found out that he had also been run over by another vehicle, so they absolutely knew there were other vehicles involved!!! so they lied to us🤬🤬🤬🤬

3- when I would call to ask for updates on the case they treated me like I was interrupting their day and they had better things to do and just so disrespectful. an employee of Wheezy's Bar and grill contacted me and said; " they wanted to remain anonymous but couldn't live with themselves without telling me that Antonio was there drinking all evening and soon after the time he left ,he killed my baby brother."
There was only one officer that I could talk to at ypd that showed any concern about the case and gave me time of day.
I informed him about the information I received. He actually went there looking for access to security cameras for a possible way to prove DUI since Antonio piece of s**t Nunez waited over 24 hours to turn himself in and a blood draw wouldn't do any good. The owners told that officer that he would have to get a search warrant and ask him to leave. Within a week that officer, the only one gave a damn about what had happened to my brother, was removed from the case!!!!***WTF*** I was then told I could not talk to him and then later they told me he didn't work there anymore, which recently I found out is a lie!

4- 27 hours after Antonio killed Michael , after he sobered up, he turn himself in. he had a warrant for driving on a suspended license with unsecured minors in the vehicle . so they arrested in for the warrant . Which was then paid off within the hour by weezy's Bar and Grill. they issued a release of his suspended license and let him walk out that door with a brand new legal license after he had just left a man to die in the middle of a road, to be run over by other vehicles, 27 hours earlier. In his statement he told them the reason he left was he thought he may have killed somebody, so he could have pulled Mike out of the road so he could live !!! consciously he killed him on purpose ,he's a murderer , right? And that's the person they let walk out the door with a brand-new unrestricted license and no charges. in my opinion a license to Kill. 3 months later after a lot of pressure from myself and many of you they finally charged him with one felony; leaving the scene of an accident with fatality. They arrested him and released him. we were not informed until we saw it on social media or the news I don't remember . So YPD made sure we had no say as to how we feel about him being let out on his own recognizance at court. imagine if you were treated that way if you lost a very close loved one, which I know many of you loved Mikey and were and still are hurting!
So please take a couple minutes out of your day, call Yuma Police Department non-emergency line, and let them know how you feel about the way they're treating us. How they have no right to be holding on to my brother's belongings smart and not an excuse. They need to figure out who's phones go to who, I mean they really going to back that their officers don't know how to right people's names when they collect evidence and make sure the evidence is tag correctly. If that is the case oh my God how many innocent people are in prison in jail and how many real monsters are free to walk the streets it just makes no sense that officer Welch's excuse.!!.

Hey I really apologize for not posting a lot of things on here lately. I am just not savvy to social media yet. It's not that I don't try I think I'm just too old school lol. But if you send me a friend request to my Facebook account I will accept it and I always post live videos there and updates. As I haven't been as active as I usually am getting out and filming the police, I am really trying hard to get out more again. It's just so hard to deal with a lot of other things in my life while knowing the police department did not do their job and still isn't doing their job investigating the death of my brother by that repeat offender Hit and run, with child sexual misconduct charges in his past, driving on a suspended license and admitting to smoking ma*****na, left the scene after hitting my brother from behind on his motorcycle and leaving him to suffer in the street, then be ran over by other vehicles. Not only did they never give us any updated information or contact us a single time other than to tell us that my brother had passed away in a motorcycle accident and that it was mechanical issue that caused his death. we had to find out all the true information from social media and the news. The police department wouldn't tell us anything, didn't inform us of our victims rights, or ever contact us like I said. But they did give Antonio Lopez Nunez, the guy that murdered my brother in my opinion, when he chose to leave my brother in the middle of that street while driving on a suspended license and under the influence, his license back when he turned himself in the next day after he sobered up. The one officer I gave information that would prove Antonio Lopez Nunez had been drinking all night and that officer tried to obtain the security footage and was denied l, he was then pulled off the case the next day and they will not let me speak with him. Then when Antonio Lopez Nunez did get charged with a single crime of leaving the scene of an accident with fatality, we were not contacted that they were going to charge him with anything and we missed his initial court appearance. We were not givin are victims right to plead to the judge to keep this guy in jail because of it, And I know a lot of you probably already know the story here but I can't stop saying it because it's just mind-boggling how this can happen. I mean I just read in Jennifer Blackwell's page today that a guy hit two telephone poles and took out power in the Foothills and he was arrested and booked into the detention center. And if you go back three years in Yuma history every single hit and run with fatality case, the suspect was ARRESTED and given a MINIMUM OF $100,000 BAIL and some of these people it was their very first offense in their life. But the guy that KILLED MY BROTHER, they let him go without spending a second in jail, they issued a release of his suspended license and let him have his license back and when he was charged he was let go on his own recognizance without having to pay a bond or anything. WTF, what makes this guy so special to get treated like a victim and all this special treatment. I need to know why this guy is getting treated different than every other person that's done the same thing . This is disgusting and I will never stop exposing the double standards and any Yuma police officer that I catch breaking the law. Even if it's just exposing them to the public through social media. I don't want any other family, that goes through something like we are, have to be treated The way we are being treated, and let a piece of s**t be allowed to be on the streets and give them their license back. Or problems like releasing hit and run drivers that kill people with child molestation history and failure to show up to court history without a bond on their own recognizance. Giving them their license back and allowing them to be a future danger to the citizens. Treating victims like their defendants, not informing victims about their rights or giving them any updates at all. These are also things that could have been prevented or done right if this list was actually followed! I promise to make a change about this! Because I'm going to be focusing all my efforts on our community policing I decided to change the name of my YouTube channel to the same as this page so that people can find them easier and we can get this out to a larger audience. July 26th 20/20 around 4:30 a.m. . All the work I had accomplished on the local PD wearing their PPE or face mask apparently was for nothing so far. My health wasn't too great so I was home for about a week and a half without going out and I guess the local PD thought they didn't have to worry about me showing up again. Very disappointed that no officers were wearing their face masks! A week and a half earlier I was able to make enough of a change that every officer I encountered was wearing their masks. I thought they would keep it up but you'll see here they are back to their public endangerment. Even though there was a couple officers that had really good attitudes and seem like they're in it for the right reasons, they still were not following their own policies. This tells me that the leadership is not enforcing or not following the policies either. if this disturbs you make sure you call the Yuma Police department and express your feelings. we're not going to cause change unless you speak up!if you don't want to call in just go to there Yuma Police department page and write how you feel there on their page. They cannot remove your post they cannot alter your post it becomes public record. It's a felony if they alter delete anybody's post off of there even their own. So if you noticed posts on their page go missing, give me a screenshot or something so I can pursue charges. Well back to this stop I was filming as you will see they were within six feet of people or dealing with the public. the couple I noticed putting their masks on did so as they were getting in their patrol cars to leave, which made no sense to me at all but here's how many officers were at this McDonald and just count the facemasks.

In this video I was ending my patrol of the community on June 22nd 2020 when I came across a good citizen that was watching for traffic because an elderly man was passed out in his car. After talking with the citizen we both were kind of worried about the gentleman possibly having covid-19. He had called the police and they had arrived just before I started filming. I want you to pay attention to the officers in this video and their faces. Remember right now there is a mandate of the community to wear their face masks and especially if they're within the 6ft social distance. This is also a medical call with an unknown reason for the condition so officers should be extremely cautious and absolutely be wearing their face masks. They shouldn't be anywhere without facemask anyways but unfortunately many of my videos you will see they don't wear them most of the time. The great thing is anytime I see ambulance or firefighters performing their duties they are always wearing their PPE AKA face covering. The only first responders I see not wearing them is the police department. this is a scary thing especially since they are usually the first to see people and they do this 24 hours a day 7 days a week and are at the highest risk of spreading the covid-19 around the community. As in all my videos I post I like to express that each and everyone of you as a citizen of Yuma Arizona or of wherever you live across the country have a duty to your communities to make sure that the police and those communities are doing their job and that they're not violating people's rights. If you see them violating rights you have a duty to file a complaint or report them and if you see them doing wrong you should give them a combination and let them know that way we have the right officers in the right positions and we rid our departments of police officers that believe they're above the law and are violating people's rights. Remember they are out patrolling our streets where our family friends and community members are and you need to do your part to make sure our streets are safe. Thank you and I hope you learned something from this video. Oh by the way Yuma Arizona Police department has a online complaint and commendation site. You do not need to go in and person unless you would like to to file these you can do it from the safety of your home and watching a video I post on there gives you the right to do this because you're seeing exactly what happened because I do not edit these videos. June 20th 2020 well out on patrol for Community safety, I came across this vehicle. Which was suspected of being a vehicle that had been involved in a shooting. Also I was out doing a compliance check with our first responders regarding the new executive order and city council face covering mandate and law. Here in Yuma it is a class 1 misdemeanor that is open to the officers to charge people without a face mask. They are trained the laws regarding the face masks very recently and should all have great knowledge of exact laws and consequences for it. sadly on my patrols I only find around 25% of officers wearing their face masks when interacting with the public. Pay attention to my videos from this point forward because they will all can I have a second duty and that is to check compliance of the peace officers and the facial coverings. They are not above the law and are supposed to be ambassadors and examples of the law. Community members we'll see an officer that is not following this law and think that it ended or that it's just not an enforceable policy. Remember if any of my videos you see an officer doing something right or doing something wrong it is your duty as a citizen to either make a complaint on that officer or two give a commendation for the ones that do right that way we have a department full of the right peace officers. This stop is the first one of June 22nd 2020 I had been pulling up on stops all evening but by the time I got there they were ending and I did not catch any video this one I got there just a little bit earlier. This is a cop watch and a compliance check of the new face coverings law / policy that you can be charged with a class 1 misdemeanor if you do not have. I'm seeing if the officers enforcing this or setting examplesand following the same laws / policies or if they think they're above the law and don't need to follow them. I will include a video I made showing you the exact ruling on this by the Yuma city council so you can read it for yourself.

Yuma Police Department, I would like to offer you a chance to bridge the gap between the community and the officer. I believe the citizens of Yuma County and City Limits would feel much safer and have much more faith in the officers if they followed and pushed for this same changes as Colorado. Let's do the right thing and become the second state to change these policies. Make our community and our state's proud and push for this yourselves. Do you do this and you will be an example for all cities and states in the United States and a frontrunner of how policing should be done. The ball is in your court now and I just hope that you really listen to what's going on here in Colorado and really take a look at it and just see how much more faith the community we have in you if you just did this. if any of you didn't know I have a YouTube channel. I've been filming police here in Yuma for a few years now. I want to change the name of my channel and focusing more on the local PD. I was wondering if you all could give me some suggestions of a name I could use for my channel that would be more focused on the local PD. If you have had your rights violated by Yuma Police department and just didn't know how to make a complaint or you were in fear of doing so please join the last # . I just said if you would like to see what has been going on with me please visit but I am fighting for change here in Yuma. I'm going to expose the bad officers so the good officers have a chance! Please stand up with me because I can't do it alone. I know a lot of you are scared of ypd and you know what I'm talkin about and you just didn't know what to do. Well I'm giving you your opportunity because I'm moving full force to make sure it gets done and I have some pretty big backers. We will make change so that nobody gets treated like my family has recently and so that we can try and drop down the rights violations and hopefully put a stop to it.
