Arshad Nadeem was born on 2 January 1997, in a small town near Mian Channu city, about 300 kilometers away from Lahore. The third of seven siblings, Nadeem was brought up in financial crunch. The only source of income in his household was his father, Muhammad Ashraf, who was a construction worker.
Although Nadeem's first interest was cricket, his family was not able to support him in taking up the sport due to financial constraints.
