We thought we would share some of the tips on how to Keep Fuerteventura Clean from the latest issue!
Recycle responsibly! Sort your rubbish in to the bins provided.
Blue - Paper
Yellow - Plastic
Green - Glass
Dispose of your waste in the specified times. October - March 8pm until 2am. April - September 9pm - 2am. This helps reduce odour and mess.
If you are a dog owner please carry bags and dispose in the bins provided. Carry a bottle of water to hand to wash away any wee.
Do you need to to dispose of anything big? Use the Línea Verde app to let the council know and they will do the rest. This is also the case if you see anything that has been dumped and needs to be removed.

@cabildoftv have events happening all over the island. These events have food, music and traditional Canarian clothes.
The day is celebrated annually on the 30th May. This is a public bank holiday in the Canary Islands. The day was chosen as the first anniversary of of the first session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands which happened on the 30 May 1983.

Do you love sport, food and live music? @paladea_laoliva is taking place from the 30th May until the 2nd June in Villaverde.
There will be cooking shows, beer tasting and sporting events and live performances over the course of the event.
The sporting events include mountain biking, trail running and hiking! There is still time so sign up and participate in these sporting events.
The event is also great for kids. To encourage education and community engagement there will be a Paladea Kids Workshop. This is a unique opportunity to get involved and learn more about our local gastronomy.
There really is something for everyone!
