this mix is truly a patchwork of feeling 🩵 a translation of my present experience of self and the world around me - playful, joyous, energetic, expansive, as well as melancholic, introspective, deep and reflective

The consistent through line is light; even in the moments that feel more solemn, there is an essence of hope that shines through - something I feel we are all I need of, especially now

September’s .fm show featuring the lovely is now available for playback ✨

I and LO-LOW have been friends for a little while now; we have shared a few line-ups, hung out and jammed - creating this show together felt like a beautiful blossoming of our connection 🪷 we spent the two hours dancing and chit-chatting away, laughing the whole time

For the first hour of this show, I played solo, unfolding into sexy percussive house, bass and pockets of jazz, layered with vocals

LO-LOW stepped in for the second hour for a power b2b of techno, house, bass and breaks. Our mutual throughline when playing is light - even in the darker moments, this mix brings you back to joy again and again

This Friday I will be playing at for my dear friend as part of her fundraiser for her GRS surgery 💖

All ticket sales will go towards her surgery, and I can’t express enough how important and vital this is for her!

As well as being a very (very) fabulous DJ, Jess is a tour de force of openness, softness and vulnerability, especially on the challenges around mental health and transitioning - I’m so proud of her and the space she has knowingly and unknowingly created for others on this journey. She gives so much to the community through her talent and humanity, and she deserves hitting the target for her surgery.

I’ll be on closing duties 02:30 - 03:30, playing alongside

Tomorrow is the first show of my new residency with .fm ☀️ airing 12:00 - 14:00

My first-ever guest is no other than Dan Beaumont - founder of the incomparable + legendary q***r rave .rave & longstanding resident on NTS with their show Rhythm Connection 🚨

For the first hour me & Dan will be going b2b 1-4-1 journeying an array of house (heaters, pumpers & groovers galore) before I fly solo for the last hour where ill be rapidly ramping things up

after a mad end to 2023 I’ve spent the last 4 weeks resting, slowing down, listening to my body, energy (and so much music) and reconnecting with self - baby is now ready and rearing to go !
