TOURNAMENT RULES:
• DOUBLE ELIMINATION FORMAT
• Platform/system used: PS4
• Brackets will be generated through challonge.com
• All DLC characters are available and usable
• Match Settings: Timer - 60secs , Bo3 rounds
• Stage Select: Random
• Best of 3 Matches (First to 2 wins)
Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals - Best of 5 matches (First to 3 wins)
• Side Selection: Participants may select their preferred player side (Player 1 left & Player 2 right). If Players cannot agree to a Side Selection, a coin toss is recommended. Winner of coin toss gets preferred side
• Winner must keep character
• Loser may switch character
• Tournament Organizers/Marshals will be giving participant/s a 5 MINUTE GRACE PERIOD to be present for their respective matches. Failure to show up within grace period will result in disqualification (match forfeit)
• Controller/Button settings SHOULD BE CONFIGURED before matches start
• Pausing between matches is NOT ALLOWED. Accidental pause of a player forfeits the round as penalty
• Participants should be responsible for reporting match results, technical and in-game issues, disputes, misconduct and any violation of rules to Tournament Organizers/Marshals for proper sanction or penalty.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
WEARING OF FACE MASKS AND FACE SHIELDS IS MANDATORY
• Observe social distancing
• Avoid physical contact / No sharing of equipment
• Participants should be present at the tournament grounds and report to event staff at least 30 MINUTES before assigned pool starts
• Casuals and warm-up matches are available at selected stations
• Participants SHOULD and ARE REQUIRED to bring their own DS4 Controllers or Fight Sticks
• FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE and to avoid overcrowding, only participants are allowed inside venue
• Outside food/beverages are not allowed. Take advantage of awesome food from Secret Base menu
