Slapsoil , a seven-month-old punk rock band based in Bacolod, has recently unveiled their debut single titled "The Children of the Streets." This band is currently regarded as one of the most industrious musical acts in Bacolod City. Remarkably, their drummer acquired drumming skills just this past February in 2023—quite an impressive feat, wouldn't you agree?

Looking ahead to December, SLAPSOIL has ambitious plans to release a five-track EP. Furthermore, in January, they are slated to support the tour of the Batangas City-based punk rock outfit known as FRIENDS YOU CAN KEEP. This tour will take them to Cebu, Bacolod, and Iloilo City. Keep an eye out for more musical offerings from SLAPSOIL in the near future.
