Still playing games on your PC with an old version of ? You might want to upgrade to a later version such as Windows 10 or 11, as Steam announced they'll soon stop supporting PCs still running Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 starting January 1st, 2024.

In its support post, Steam said the end of support is due to "core features in Steam [relying] on an embedded version of Google Chrome, which no longer functions on older versions of Windows."

They added that Steam's future versions will require security updates only present in Windows 10 and above.

Genshin Impact announced on Wednesday the Special Program for Version 3.6. The program "will feature juicy details about new game content and developments in Version 3.6," and as usual, redemption codes for primogems and other in-game items.

The special program will premiere on Twitch this Friday, March 31st at 8PM (Manila Time). It will then be posted on YouTube at 9PM.

Taylor Swift was named Best Innovator at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2023, recognizing her impact in music and pop culture.

"You have to give yourself permission to fail. I try as hard as I can not to fail 'cause it's embarrassing, but I give myself permission to and you should too, so go easy on yourself and just make the right choices that feel right for you and someday someone might think that you've been innovative," Swift said in her speech after receiving the award.

She also scored Pop Album of the Year (Midnights), Song of the Year (Anti-Hero), Best Lyrics (Anti-Hero), TikTok Bop of the Year (Bejeweled), and Favorite Use of a Sample (Question...? for sampling Out of the Woods).

Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted on Monday evening (US time) that beginning April 15th, only verified accounts will show up on For You page "to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over." He added that verification is also required to be eligible to vote on Twitter polls "for the same reason."

Twitter also announced on March 24th that they will begin removing legacy verified checkmarks on April 1st.

OPPO introduced their latest system-on-chip, the MariSilicon Y, during the OPPO INNO Day 2022 event. The SoC, focused on Bluetooth audio, is claimed to be an industry-first for its ability to transmit 24bit/192 kHz audio over Bluetooth.

With high-performance NPU, the increased computing power will also allow for a better spatial audio experience on flagship devices.

Because it will also make use of OPPO's proprietary Ultra-Resolution Lossless Codec, it might be limited to the company's own flagship devices for now. No new devices that will ship with the SoC were announced as of this writing.

ICYMI: Riot Games is suing NetEase Games for VALORANT clone "Hyper Front." Riot claims Hyper Front copied almost all elements of Valorant—from in-game UI, character designs and abilities, charms, maps, even weapon stats.

“We don’t think that changing the color of a character ability or slightly modifying the visual appearance changes the fact that it’s copyright infringement. It’s like that old saying, ‘You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig,’” Riot Games' lawyer Dan Nabel told Polygon.

The lawsuit will also be filed in the United Kingdom, Brazil, Singapore, and Germany.

Taylor Swift just announced her 10th studio album, , at the MTV Video Music Awards after winning Best Direction, Video of the Year, and Best Longform Video for "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)."

Swift then shared the album cover in an Instagram post along with a photo of her containing a note. "This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams," Swift wrote. "The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching - hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve... we'll meet ourselves."

The 13-track album will be out October 21.

Demi Lovato just dropped her eighth studio album, , a few hours ago.

"HOLY F**K takes me back to my roots. It’s a body of work that’s unapologetically me," Lovato said of the album in an Instagram post on July 15th where she also revealed the album's track list.
