Welcome to NAIDOC Week. A week of celebrating the History, Culture and Achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people.
A little while ago I was asked to come and capture a short, documentary style video of a bush camp north of Ceduna, South Australia on Wirangu Country. The purpose of this trip was to educate, and immerse young, Aboriginal people into their culture. This was such an eye opening adventure for me 🙏🏼 and I loved every minute of it ❤️ what a beautiful culture it is‼️
Lets use this time of NAIDOC to educate ourselves of this amazing culture, immerse ourself in local teachings and ways of living! Some of my favourite work has come from being in and working with empowered Aboriginal people in Ceduna. Their openness of culture really opens your eyes to new perspectives ❤️
