Welcome to NAIDOC Week. A week of celebrating the History, Culture and Achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people.
A little while ago I was asked to come and capture a short, documentary style video of a bush camp north of Ceduna, South Australia on Wirangu Country. The purpose of this trip was to educate, and immerse young, Aboriginal people into their culture. This was such an eye opening adventure for me 🙏🏼 and I loved every minute of it ❤️ what a beautiful culture it is‼️
Lets use this time of NAIDOC to educate ourselves of this amazing culture, immerse ourself in local teachings and ways of living! Some of my favourite work has come from being in and working with empowered Aboriginal people in Ceduna. Their openness of culture really opens your eyes to new perspectives ❤️
Let’s grow, learn and encourage each other… TOGETHER 🙏🏼

Winners were announced last night at a launch in Tanunda after a record breaking 350 entries were received. The winning entries will be on display at the Barossa Regional Gallery from Saturday 4 September. 🖼

I’ve gotten back into reading books lately… what are you reading right now? In particular I’ve been looking into the mindfulness space, a space where you can learn to take control over your thoughts, guide yourself towards successes and challenge yourself.

1 year in the business. 1 year of holding a camera. 1 year of working with you. This first year has thrown me into the deep end.
