This is a better late than never post. This summer, I was understandably delirious taking care of a newborn and social media was not my priority. That being said, these memories are precious to me and as I was going through snapshots on my phone I really wanted to post these memories. Even though we are well into fall. Here is my summer in review. Though much of our summer was spent in bed, we did make it to the beach a few times, the Minnesota State Fair, and we took a last minute trip to the cabin and Wisconsin Dells.

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! 🎃 Here is my Halloween fun photo dump with pic from Halloween night and a few extra from our trip to the pumpkin patch. This year I am a tired exclusively breastfeeding mom and I did not feel shopping for a costume so I just wore a Halloween sweater that I already had. I did not want to bug my baby and change his outfit so I put his pumpkin costume over things that do not match. My 10 year old doesn’t like to take many pictures anymore so I am lucky if I get a couple. My dad also stopped by to hand out candy. I love my family and it was a great Halloween!

I did the whole newborn photoshoot thing and I am so happy that I did! It is tough to choose a favorite photo. I love them so much. I’m also so glad that we captured photos of big sister holding him when he is so little. I am probably going to do a photo collage frame and hang them all up.

As I approach 39 weeks pregnant I am reflecting upon what a joy it has been to carry my baby. I love feeling the movements inside my belly and I am so grateful to be able to do this for my son. I excited to meet him, but at the same time I am thinking about how much I have loved being pregnant, even through the difficult times. Thank you for choosing me to be your mom.

We had such an amazing day yesterday! and my mom hosted a baby shower for Brandon and I. We decided to have a co-Ed shower because we are equally excited and wanted to bring our friends and family together to celebrate a new life coming into this world. We felt so loved and supported. Thank you to everyone who attended.
