Not gonna lie foaks..... I'm pretty burnt out on hunting the "allocated" stuff. The bourbon world has exploded. So bad to the point of people counterfeiting bottles. I get that it has been this way for a bit but how did we go from a bottle costing $23 to watching people buy said bottle for $99, which doesn't even have a cork 🤣 This year I'm personally going to be trying more store picks, and more local stuff. Starlight Distillery is located right here in Indiana and produces, ages, and bottles all their own stuff. I haven't tried much of their juice because I've been saving my pennies for the fancy stuff but this bottle was too good to pass up. Stop chasing the tater bait, and start supporting the little guy!

Huge shout to the good people over at Olde Raleigh Distillery for making sure I got a bottle of their fine bourbon one way or another all the way here in Fort Wayne Indiana! If anyone is ever near the distillery or an ABC close to them pick up a bottle regardless of the batch! I had the chance to try both batch 7 and 8 and it was a tough choice on which bottle to keep 😅 I would also like to thank Michael Haney for being the mule, and bringing another awesome bottle of Bogue Sound Distillery bourbon!
