In an article published by Bob Hemmen in the national media, our former guest talks about a few problems that Luxembourg Basketball currently faces. Here are the main talking points:

1. Thanks to RTL Arena, all games are now livestreamed and the clubs are able to promote their sport. But the level is currently at a low point.

2.The suspense is limited because about two thirds of the gsmes are decided by a 10+ margin.

3.This might become.worse as their are currently discussions to go to a 20 team Total League next season. Several N2 teams are preparing such a proposal in order that no N2 teams are punished by not being able to promote following the cancellation of their season.

4. In addition, multiple former National Team players that are still among the best locals will retire after this season (Schumacher, Muller, Koster, Jairo Delgado, maybe Birenbaum,...)
Maybe some additional players will stop because they lost motivation to play in front of empty gyms and no real sportive goals.

5.The race for the playoffs seems decided already 6 days before the end of the regular season

6.No real.new talents have emerged recently. Mike Feipel is the sole local player under 25 in the top.10.scorers of the league
