I really enjoy experimenting with different aspect ratios to create different feelings in images. 4:3 can really emphasize the feeling of lonliness when you pull the camera back a bunch. Even though there is less space between the subject and the top of the image than in a 9:16 shot, the added space on the sides is what emphasizes that feeling of being alone in the landscape.

What do you guys think? 😊

New posting schedule is Saturday, Mondays and Wednesdays, with a stream on Thursday.

I'm toying around with the idea of having an editing stream on Sundays, what do you guys think? I'd most likely just be editing and not talking. If you'd be keen for this, let me know down below ✌🏻

As mentioned in the previous post, my posting schedule is changing, so expect new posts on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays, with potentially multiple posts on those days.

As the next part of the announcement, I'll be posting the sets wallpaper versions on my website, redrockvp.hte.io. The images will actually be hosted via smugmug. Generally I'll be creating a post there towards the end of weekly theme. There will generally be a couple extra shots that didn't make it into Instagram over there and the link will be in my bio ✌🏻 Once last announcement in the next post 👀

So I'm reworking my posting schedule a bit. Expect new posts on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays. The weekly posts will be focused around the weekly theme and I'll either be announcing what the weekly theme is in Discord, or on my weekly stream (which is on a Thursday currently). The number of posts per week may vary, but I'd like to at least get into some consistency with the days I post on ahead of FH5, as there is a ton of cool stuff I want to do, involving the new game and I won't be able to do that if I'm tied up editing all week.

As always, I appreciate everyone who has shown support on this page thus far and I can't wait for what the future holds 😄

Watch out for the next few posts, as I'll be sharing some more updates in those!

So its time for a new weekly theme 😎 This week, we're doing

This is Series 1 of Mazda Week, titled: Ying/Yang

So my idea here is to use black and white paints. In this instance I tried a half half approach, but I'm gonna try a few other things as well.

I've tried to show my process for this pic.
