I have received the following message to be shared with people the world over:
Dear brothers, sisters, family, friends,
Never before has there been so much insecurity in everyday life, a world suffering so much from the oppression of so many corrupt governments, corrupt corporations, corrupt world controlling organisations, corrupt media outlets, corrupt ruling elite.... and from so much evil, vice, crime, tyranny, violence, abuse and yes, even genocide.
We have been left fearful for the future of our babies, and young people, and for ourselves and our loved ones.
But collectively, with the right intention and action, we can turn this around.
Here is a sensational and extraordinary idea for you:
let us harness the tremendous power of prayer in community to make a positive impact across the world.
Let our villages, towns and cities, our workplaces, neighbourhoods and family spaces stand still for one extraordinary minute each day as we pray for world peace and freedom for all.
This idea has come about through a group of people in Australia copying a similar initiative that was started in England in WW2 to stop the bombing, when people across the country stopped whatever they were doing to pray for peace for one minute a day.
Now, as men, women and children of all nationalities find themselves under relentless attack, we are again being called to spend a single minute every day praying for the safety of our people and our countries; for an end to the oppression of those who seek to harm, control and enslave us; for the restoration of our freedom and liberty; and for the one true God of love and light to guide the decisions of our rulers.

We will stop to pray at the following times:

Hou GOEIE MOED...Don't lose hope and don't allow this to change your heart... These are secondary elements...

These are all ways to break you down so that you feel as though you can't anymore...so that you throw in the towel...so that your family shatters...

Dig deep and see the little blessings...hug from a loved one, smile from your child, cat purring up against you, smell of a good meal cooking... Don't get distracted and don't lose sight...

There is soooo much going on but in actual fact it's as simple as this...Light vs Dark... Prayer is powerful and God has never left us...We are not alone and we have not been deserted, but we need to make work of what we have and put in place what we can...

We cannot sit on our hands and expect a miracle to happen...We need to take that personal responsibility...Being happy doesn't just happen...We put things in place, we make choices, we set boundaries, we understand our worth...

We can enjoy our lives...we don't have to be stuck in Groundhog day only to be hit with what seems like a level down every day...This is a choice... We are not meant to worry about tomorrow...Let's just look at now. Let's just get through now...and let's do it with hope and thanksgiving....

Go out there today and face the loadshedding and the next and the next like you would any other speedbump while driving...prepare your car accordingly and move over it ammicably...

Morning Prayer

Our heavenly Father, as the light of this new day streams over the earth, so may the light of Your love stream upon us, into our hearts and all about us. We cannot live without You! Manifest Your grace and mercy to us. We are not worthy — not worthy to gather up the crumbs that fall from our Master's table — but You have invited us to come near to You, not merely to eat the crumbs that fall — but to sit at Your table as Your guests, and to share all the blessings of Your grace! So we would now be filled with good things from Your hand. Give us water to drink from the river of Your pleasures.

We desire to go out today under Your eye and to keep close to You all the time. Show us the way, for we cannot find it ourselves, and could never get home without Your guidance. Put good thoughts into our hearts, for we can think beautiful thoughts only when they first drop from Heaven, like stars, and begin to glow in us! Every good thing comes down from above. As every stream is born in the skies, in the clouds — so every good thing in life is born in Heaven, comes out of Your very heart! Send down into our hearts, good and beautiful thoughts and feelings — that from our lives, may go divine blessings to all whom we come into contact with.

Father, fit us now for making other lives holy this day. May the fire of love burn in our hearts, and may other lives be kindled into loving, and be lighted into brightness from our lives. May we be able to be comforters of those who are in sorrow. May we bear one another's burdens. May we witness in all ways to . . .
the greatness of Your mercy,

When the disciples thought they were going to die from the storm, Jesus slept. After he calmed the storm, their faith was forever changed. With all that’s happening around us, it seems as if we will never make it. We are doomed. But Almighty God is not panicking. The One that controls the sea is simply waiting for us to call out His name knowing He alone can calm the raging storm all around us. Our faith needs to be forever changed. Our belief in God’s power needs to be blown away. Are you panicking? Are you worried if He cares not that we will perish? Jesus tells us:
“Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?”
Only then, did he calm the sea. The Master is waiting...not because He wants us to suffer. He is waiting on His people to recognize who He is. He is waiting on His people to awaken to the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We need to open our eyes and see what He wants us to see. The greatness of our God is beyond even our imagination!
“With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

When the enemy comes at you viciously consider that as a badge of honor. This means you are over the target and they fear you. If the enemy never came up against you then what kind of warrior would you become?
Many of you are going through difficult battles right now.
Your vision may be blurry but that does not mean you are not close to victory. When the Israelites were walking through the water being chased by Pharoah, things appeared dire. But SUDDENLY God took everything from the enemy. Absolutely everything. Never give up hope. You never know when God will pull off a sudden victory that will stun the enemy and justify your faith. You could be closer than you know. Hold on.

Storms in this life are constantly raging; struggles in this life aren’t pleasant, but they are inevitable.

2 Timothy 3:12 reminds us that “..all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”

If our main goal is to follow Jesus and live a godly life, then we must be willing to be treated like Jesus. During His earthly ministry, He was tempted, betrayed, falsely accused, hated, mocked, tortured, and killed. Do we expect to be treated better than the King of Kings?

He willingly faced it all because of His love for us; He is no stranger to the storms of this life.

Take hope today in knowing the One who is no stranger to pain, hurt, sadness, and loss is the same One who has promised to never leave us or forsake us; He will lead us through it all.
