You may begin the Camino alone but rarely end your walking alone. Today, Listeners and MercyCasters (is that a thing? I think that is a thing? Or at least it should be a thing. Yeah, it’s a thing.) is the last day on the Camino before we return home. I am discussing finishing the Camino with my friends Simon and Pia! Link in Bio.
Today, my credential got soaked. No bueno. But on today’s episode of the MercyCast, my friend Kiko and I talk about trials on the MercyCast. So don’t miss it!!!
Sometimes, you have to take it slow and smell the flowers. Today, I was in a tiny town and saw an older woman stop and smell a flower. I walked past her and then thought, maybe she's on to something. So I did the same. Then we talked about how the flowers weren't that great, but… it's good to slow down and be present. Now, I'm slowing down on purpose. The Camino isn't a race, it's a pilgrimage, and the destination isn't what you think. So take it slow, be present, smell the flowers, and use your sticks.
