Kaylee Gains' family speaks out again after her assailant had a court appearance, "Kaylee has a long journey ahead of her and significant cognitive issues."

Maurnice DeClue, 15 years old, went to court yesterday with her family present as well as Kaylee's family present. On May 10th it will be decided if she is certified as an adult in her charges. She is charged with a felony battery. Her family does not believe she should be certified as an adult. They remind the public that DeClue was an honor roll student and had never been in trouble with the juvenile system before. They cited her being bullied. The family attorney stated there is more information that he is waiting to bring up until the trial.

Kaylee Gains' attorney, Bryan Kamerer, stated that he feels if the suspect was so smart she would have known not to inflict those types of injuries to another individual. He feels this provides further reason for her to be tried as an adult. Kaylee's family did say they felt hope and were happy to hear that DeClue wanted to apologize to Kaylee, but they felt that shouldn't reflect on how she is tried, as an adult or not.

The family is trying to focus on helping Kaylee make a full recovery.

Kaylee Gains sustained a skull and brain injuries following the altercation she was involved in near the Hazelwood School in Missouri. A video went viral after the incident showing Gains' being held against the ground while her head was slammed against the sidewalk by DeClue. The video ends with Kaylee seizing and unconscious.

Two years ago today was the last time I got to talk to Cass. We were planning a yoga class together. Just normal mom stuff. Trying to balance all the things. She was doing so well against unimaginable odds. We often talked about breaking generational traumas and turning our trials into testimony. 💎I know God was preparing her for great things. I just wish it had been earth side. We won’t let evil claim this victory. Our girl is already making change. We are eagerly awaiting for to sign the Cassie Carli Bill.
I will keep saying your name my friend. 💜🌻🐝

The timeline leading up to missing Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi student Caleb Harris disappearance provides crucial details:

●At approximately 10 p.m., Harris sent a Snapchat video to a friend, showcasing a tackle box.

●Around 2 a.m., Harris's roommate reported last seeing him preparing his fishing reels for a planned fishing trip before going to bed on the couch for the night.

●At either 2:20 a.m. or 3:20 a.m., an Uber Eats pickup was made from a Stripes Store on Flour Bluff Drive, indicating Harris ordered two lunchables and a Red Bull. The timestamp on the pickup from Stripes is noted as 3:20 a.m., but there could be a one-hour discrepancy.

●At 2:44 a.m., Harris sent another Snapchat, this time featuring a dog in a parking lot.

●Shortly after, at 2:58 a.m., Harris returned to the apartment with the dog after a walk.

●Subsequent to 2:58 a.m., Harris's phone either turned off or died, with its last ping traced to The Cottages. Notably, Harris did not have his shoes, wallet, or truck keys with hi. However, his fishing poles were all accounted for and the Uber Eats delivery was found left on porch area.

The search for Harris commenced promptly after he was reported missing to the Corpus Christi Police Department at 11 a.m. Search efforts are being coordinated between local law enforcement and Texas Equusearch, a nonprofit search and rescue organization.

Community members are urged to remain vigilant and report any information that may aid in locating Harris. Meanwhile, loved ones are rallying together, holding onto hope for his safe return.

As the search intensifies, the family and friends of Caleb Harris are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, as they anxiously await news of his whereabouts.

“Playful, sweet, and beautiful.”
That’s how the father of 10-month-old Halo Branton described his daughter.
The baby’s mother has been charged with manslaughter, and a murder charge is pending. District Attorney Bob Carney said an autopsy was done this morning.
“Based upon his findings that this child died of exposure, hypothermia, the decision was made to file additional charges,” he said. “The baby was dropped into a utility tunnel from a height of about eight feet. The bottom of the tunnel, there was standing water. The baby did not drown. The baby was in the water which came up to her chest and around her head, but not her face. Her mother was found in a GE security building which was heated .”

On the morning of February 27, 1987, a Palmyra man driving a propane delivery truck found a deceased male infant on the side of Marion-Walworth Road in the town of Marion. Neither the baby nor the mother were identified, leading authorities to give him the name “Baby Wayne” for the county he was found in. Police believe he was left on the side of the road, not thrown from a vehicle, because there was no bruising on his body. Police also believe the infant was alive for at least several hours after being left on the side of the road. He was partially wrapped in a brown women’s sweater, size small, that the police said could have been his mother’s (see picture). Police also believe he wasn’t born in a hospital, as his umbilical cord was improperly cut.

COLD CASE UPDATE: Volusia sheriff’s detectives investigating the disappearance of a 16-year-old Ormond Beach girl almost 20 years ago discovered human remains this afternoon during the excavation of a suspected burial site.

The remains are believed to be those of Autumn Lane McClure, a Mainland High School student who was last seen May 10, 2004, when her boyfriend dropped her off at the Volusia Mall.

Sheriff’s detectives continued to investigate the case in the nearly 20 years that followed, obtaining DNA from family members, re-interviewing friends and possible witnesses, and identifying a person of interest in 2021. That person died in May 2022, but the investigation continued.

The investigation led to a suspected burial site in the Ormond Beach area. Today, human remains were discovered during excavation of the site.

Sheriff Mike Chitwood will provide a media briefing Thursday. Further information will be provided in that briefing and updated post.

It's true... I sank from 207 to a lean 135... And I’ll never forget the look on my doctor’s face when I walked into his office for my annual exam.

He stuttered out, “Are you doing that Rice Hack I told you about?”

So I told him I'd been doing it for a few months now, and it completely changed my life and health.

The best part? People are noticing and asking what I'm doing differently.

This is the first time in a very long time I’ve felt this good about myself.

So maybe this can help you too?
