this is the worst part - waiting, refreshing multiple times a minute, checking our cameras while we still have power, checking on our friends who are bravely staying, god speed besties. 🌀

five years ago in a parking lot i handed this little irish lady a sticky note that asked her to be my girlfriend. we have since gotten married, had a baby, bought homes, got a s**t ton of tattoos, travel the world and have experience way more life in 5 years that people do in 20. from loss to heartache to tests and growth yet we’ve always come home and shown up for each other. ily coach griffin. 🤍

summer in september ✨ especially in florida. i have been contemplating all day if it’s appropriate to start putting out my halloween decor (it’s all pink anyway). this is going to be such a fun month for us here at EDP as we embrace the fall calendar, send out our mini session emails….and….planning for spring 2025 🙃

you are an ideal candidate for an at home newborn session if you have these three things:

1. BRIGHT LIGHT - I can’t stress this enough. if you have no natural light I will stop you right there.

2. Neutral painted walls - for me this is probably my number one dealbreaker. there’s nothing no better than having a clean colored canvas and a space to bounce light.

3. You prefer a lifestyle look - if you are hoping for a more organic feel documenting these moments at home may be better for your family especially with siblings. this gives them space to be their most comfortable. capturing at home gives me the space to focus more on the entire family.

having my own studio gives you the ease of showing up and me taking over. allowing for a neutrally designed canvas and proper equipment / props for individual newborn portraits on my poser & mixing in family time too.

coming out of a month long instagram posting hiatus because well life - has been lifting. i am nearing the end of a 7.5 car ride with NO children. ✨ shauna and i are going away for our first kidless weekend together since before alfie was born!!! we are going to the liverpool game in south carolina bc DUH. anywayyyy prepare to be sick of meeeee. i have so much GOOD content coming your way. ok ily bye.

going back to the place shauna and i said our own vows + took maternity photos was so bittersweet. 🤍 we laughed, we hiked and we may have lost a drone to the ocean. traveling across the sea for the second time in a few weeks was well worth it. thank you for our beautiful friendship and choosing me to document this milestone for your family. ✨

four years ago we turned into a real life business. from $40 front porch photos i hustled out kept my lights on during covid (using a lens kit camera, shooting in jpeg, editing on my cellphone) to a six figure brand allowing me to gift multiple sessions a year for our community.
it felt time to take this little business to the next level with an emphasis on client experience and imagery.

for the last seven months we’ve been manifesting and developing a brand that showcases growth and the market we’ve moved into but always staying true to who we are. this is the most authentic i have felt about what i am delivering in a long time. aside from the new cameras, new lenses, new education, new editing. our little rainbow brand has blossomed alongside me as a person. welcome to my elevated era. 🤍 let this be a reminder if you want it you can have it - at the expense of a few sleepless nights during holiday season and sand embedded into your car mats - but i’d say it’s worth it.

this was a special one, oh what i would give to have these generational milestones documented for my own littles. my newborn sessions are inclusive. include your parents, a best friend, siblings, hell your pet bird even. do it. you won’t regret only appreciate. 🤍

the stomach bug is full force at fairy moss lane. at this point i needed a little change of scenery from post blowout baths so we went downstairs as the light shined and in the sink he went. ✨ this very moment was on my vision board for my someday house only tangible in dreams. safe to say, i did it. so much hard work. so many days unsure of how i was going to keep the lights on. but then entered coach griffin who saw me buried under layers of trauma and eagerness to just exist. now here we are just shy of five years together living in our second home in the glorious suburbs with our two children and two dogs. who the hell do we think we are? 🤍
