What do Congressman make, how much are they worth, and what do they do?
Your congressman earn 174k a year yet Nancy Pelosi has a net worth of 114 million. After 31 years In office, if Pelosi saved every earned dollar, and she received the same pay 31 years ago, she would have 5.4 million. Keep in mind, her net worth is 114 million, her assets on hand are over 200 million and liabilities of just under 90 million.
So what does your congressman do everyday while you are actually working. The short answer is....not much. They concentrate on reelection issues and how to get the votes from other congressman to pass what will get them re-elected. It’s a you scratch my back and I scratch yours situation.
So when a billionaire is put into office that doesn’t need the money and doesn’t work that system, he is a threat to the occupation itself. Someone who goes into office and works hard at issues that will create change, doesn’t take kick backs, and does so in record breaking time has to go and be erased from history or the lucrative cushioned job of a politician will be in jeopardy.
When you cast your vote this November, think for yourselves and don’t accept the narrative fed to you by mainstream media.
