Branding or “Long Term” marketing is the opposite of direct response
It has a long time horizon and requires consistency
The goal being to educate your customers on the value that you offer
What is different about you from the other guys
and to create an emotional connection with your customer
This is a long term strategy
A lot of plumbing businesses solely focus on short term
And miss out on the power of building a powerful brand
Where your customers understand the value you bring to the table
And you’ve created an emotional connection with them
Where they understand what you, what your all about
And why they should hire you over the other guys
In a world where we can get in front of so many people! 🙂

Some business owners are scared of posting to frequently
They’re worried about driving people nuts on social media
But the reality is that whoever screams the loudest gets the most attention
My favorite example of this is Grant Cardone
If you don’t know who he is he’s a billionaire real estate investor
And he’s very well know for his aggressive marketing techniques
In an interview with Alex Hormozi grant said that
40% of his business comes from people who unsubscribed from his email list
Think about that for a minute
He drove them nuts enough to unsubscribe from his email list
And they still spent money with him
If your drive them nuts enough they know
Who you are, what you do, and what your all about
And better yet they’re still willing to give you their money
Which means you should post as often as possible
So then it just becomes a matter of what's reasonable as far as time and money is concerned
Either your going to do it yourself and time is the determining factor
How much time are you willing to spend on posting
Or your going to pay someone to do it for you and money is the determining factor
How much money are you willing to spend your social media management

It’s proof to your customers that you are doing a good job

And better yet when they give you a five star review
They are much more likely to mention one or all of your three things
Because you've now told them what you do and what your all about
You've essentially put the words in their mouth
After a while your social media and your five star reviews will all say the same message to your customer
