Somber emotions the day after the Fourth of July. When the country should be celebrating, we are thrust into more terror, anger, and mourning.

Prism Publishing Group is looking for volunteers for a Social Media Assistant and Social Media Team members.
The social media positions include:
Assistant:
-Assist with management and moderation of pages (training for moderation and crisis management will be done).
-Assist SMM with creating content through Canva (design) and manage projects/delegate with Clickup.
-Assist advertising team to create SEO and audience-driven ads.
-Suggest changes to pages, as well as creation of new pages.
-Help schedule and plan content on a weekly to monthly basis/help run meetings.
-Assist with bringing in/training of page moderators.
-Assist with creation of presentations concerning analytics, content plans, etc.
Team:
-Attend weekly to monthly meetings for planning.
-Help design and pitch ideas for posts.
-Moderate social media pages and discord servers (training for moderation and crisis management will be done).
-Update project status through clickup.
Any other tasks as deemed by SMM or SMA
Preferred skills (both):
-Willingness to learn and work in a digital team environment. Self-starter.
-Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, Reddit, Discord, and other social platforms.
- How each works, how to create content, differences within each that may or may not transfer between sites.
-Ability to answer questions and concerns of readers, members, and followers. Communicate any issues with messages to SMM in a timely fashion. Send specific question types to other departments if necessary.

We at The Prism Publishing Group are asking for donations to assist in paying some of our startup costs. We have finished drafting our corporate charter. This has to be filed as soon as possible for the Prism Publishing Group to become an official business entity. There are various costs that we are looking at, including the purchase of our website and emails. Then the real work begins. We will begin selling advertising space within The Prism Newspaper, and begin funding the various departments within the Publishing Group so that we may take on clients and fulfill the dreams set out by our mission statement.

It is with great pleasure that I officially announce the creation of The Prism Publishing Group. The response we received by the community in regards to our maiden newsletter made it clear there was going to be a call for so much more in the area of Communications and Media, and the creation of this Group was the logical next step.
But, creating a Publishing Company from the ground up is a lot of work. Our team is working hard on getting the July issue of The Prism ready for you all, while trying to develop and create the new business.
