- There are a lot of winds beating against the church but the church has a solid foundation, it is immovable & unshakeable.
- During these difficult times, we need Christ more than ever. Every household has been turned into a church/prayer room.
- Kuna Philippians 1 v 12, Pauro arikuti his persecution inofanirwa kutosimbisa vamwe. Kusungwa kwaPauro kunofanirwa kuita encourage & strengthen the Church to preach more about Christ without fear.
- Whatever trials we go through, vanhu ngavasimbiswe, vawane huchapupu kuburikidza nazvo. Paridza in your tribulations, grow in your tribulations.

- Christ is the foundation, the rock upon which the church is founded.
- Christ owns the church, we are owned by God.
- According to Philippians 1 v 12 - 14 Paul anoratidza kuti matambudziko anotisimbisa kuti tiparidze shoko.
- The more they were forbidden to preach Christ, the more they went out to preach about him.
- The word of God is spreading now more than ever. Matthew 16 v 18, the church was designed to prevail, conquer, grow & succeed.

*5 benefits of gladly enduring through trials & tribulations*

1) The revelation/manifestation of God's strength in our weaknesses.
- 2 Corinthians 12 v 9 - 10 Paul says I take pleasure muhutera hwangu kuti simba raKristu rwuwonekwe.

2) Glorification & exceeding joy.
- God has refined us just like gold, therefore glorification comes after persecutions.
- Tribulations bring glorification. No pain, no gain!

3) Sharing in the identity of Christ
- Philippians 3 v 8 - 10 we share in the identity of Christ.
- He suffered but was rewarded with external joy.
- When I fellowship with Christ I am sharing in his identity & character.

4) Heavenly reward
- Matthew 5 v 12, you are blessed if people persecute you because of Christs name nokuti zvine mubairo kudenga.

5) Reigning together with Christ.
- Kudenga tichatonga pamwe chete naKristu, hakuna kuchema kudenga.
- We are loved by God individually, the church should be united. Speak kind words to each other.
