This past Monday I got to meet an idol, during “Embrace The Season”. I knew he had two Christmas albums already, but had forgotten he had a new album which dropped today. Entitled “When a Crooner Dies”, it is just a flat out incredible album. It just drowned me in emotion. I remember feeling the same way when I listened to “Lovers Rock”. This is definitely an album you don’t want to miss. Check it out now wherever you get your tunes from. These are all great quotes, and quite true, but besides the one about best friends I never had to worry about you wavering in our friendship A. From the beginning of our friendship with a 4 hour programming phone call, where I was finishing a 50k word writing challenge and you were getting ready to RUN a 50k (the mind still boggles),through laughter, tears, zombie attacks, Bohemian Songs, more zombie attacks, books, plays, music, and life in general, you never wavered once. Even when I may not have been the best friend to you, you were always to me. I’ve learned so much over the years, and I know who my true friends are. You, even after you have left this planet to fly among the cosmos, are truly one of them. Maybe it was because our bond was built on nothing more than blue and green word bubbles, IM’s and emojis. Nope, we never abbreviated anything. But life abbreviated you. Now all I am left with are memories and those blue bubbles. I get so damn angry about it, and I want to scream. You just had a birthday recently, and I couldn’t even bring myself to post anything. I felt like a horrible friend, so I sang to you from a central office. Guess that kinda made more sense anyway. I am rambling, so just know I love you and always will. Keep an eye on G and I if you can and give Tyler and Church my love. (Bah)
If anyone had told me that I would be riding a bike and doing a workout to broadway tunes, I’d have agreed with the showtunes part, but disagreed that it would have been on a . Well I guess that’s a part of my journey now. So as I begin, I just want to say thanks to for pushing me forward, and making me feel empowered! Let’s talk about heroes, shall we. has been one of mine for a lot of years, and somehow I was always 5 minutes away from having run into him. Well this past weekend I got my chance to tell him how he changed my life. How a kid from New Jersey with a dream, some maxed out credit cards, and some really good friends created the world of “Clerks” and inspired countless folks. I had tears in my eyes, and when he gave me a hug, I felt like I was hugging my best friend. Finally getting to meet was a blast, and she was such a delight to talk to. Great human being and an even better hugger! Jeff Anderson was hilarious and so kind. who I had met before as well and presented with the word art canvas (now in his media room!) was awesome, and seeing again was great! I also got to talk with another person who had inspired and enriched me with his story and his struggles. THIS is what life is about…the connections we make and the families not only of blood, but circumstance as well. The bonds we form throughout our lives, and the relationships that form who we are. It may be “just a movie” for some, but there are so many parts of that story that I have lived personally, and I finally got to say thank you to so many of those fine folks for making it not only happen in the first place, but also for keeping it alive. ((Much Love)) my friends.

Today, the character arc episodes began on The . I’ve been waiting for this run of episodes because Cathy Simms is one of the most misunderstood and under appreciated characters on the entire series. Also, and quite unfairly, one of the most maligned. I know will definitely agree with me there! Gina and I have had the opportunity to meet her and talk either her and she is just delightful. She was even intrigued when I relayed the tale of my mother being intertwined with the Manson Family. I believe she called my mom the “Forrest Gump Of The Manson Family”. Anyhoo…
Can’t wait to get how her interview with them goes. Maybe we’ll even get to interview her at some point…(hint hint Lindsey😁😁😁)

I don’t know if has ever had a fish named after her, but our new studio Betta is named “Isabel”, in honor of, well, her! So of course a Funko had to be specially prepared and placed lovingly in the tank. And she LOVES him! The male Betta in the Friday the 13th tank is named “Dwight”. The cannot be together because males are too aggressive (shocker…).
SOMEHOW me and this guy right here didn’t get a picture with each other, so I made one. Just two chubby guys from , and me! Hilarious stand up comic, and great guy. Can’t wait to see him perform again! He did a great set in Chicago, and we talked for a long time about Scranton and food and laughed our asses offs. Check him out if he comes to your town. Plus his roommate is pretty cool too…just sayin.
This “HeartBreakers” panel was 🔥🔥🔥! Although they never broke my heart, they have all most certainly stolen it, along with so many other fans’ hearts!
