Initially coming together as a team of moderators, staff, and graphic artists for a gaming-related help forum, we began constructing the idea of designing a new kind of gaming website; a website where people could learn how to improve their home consoles, read about the latest gaming news, or find out how to beat that last tough boss in just a few clicks. HacksDen wanted to be more than a gaming o
r hacking forum, but also more than a news site. Even though we have had a fantastic community to build on we knew there was more that could be accomplished. We wanted to serve up the latest news reports in full, rich detail; We wanted to share what's going on at the floor of big-name shows like E3 or Comic-Con; We wanted to give gamers a place to visit when they need to know where to find that pesky, hidden-away unlockable in their current game. But we also wanted to be that place people could visit to get quick modding advice when they need it, or to chat away with their pals and meet like-minded gamers. Originally beginning life as a simple web forum, HacksDen started as a hub for people to connect with one another. We believe that will always be our strongest attribute here at HDN. While we do want to supply in-depth coverage of the latest events, support gamers with advice, and provide news reports from around the globe, we also recognize that our greatest strength lies within the amazing community of gamers who have found their way here.
