ONE AT A TIME
It’s almost the end of the first month of 2022, and maybe some of us are already filled with workloads, to-do list, and goals for this year. As you read this, I hope you will be encouraged to take things one at a time. Yes, we have many things to do, dreams to pursue, and goals to achieve, but let us remember that small steps are also steps toward the destination that we desire. Taking things slowly but consistently can also prevent us from too much worries, anxieties, and tiredness.
Let us all remember that big things starts with small things, that big things are result of small things. So, be confident in doing small things for today, knowing that as time goes by, you will be able to finish and accomplish the things that you are doing.
Don’t be too hard on yourself, and don’t be in a hurry. For short, don’t rush. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Take things one step at a time, and one day at a time.
One at a time
One step at a time
One day at a time
God is a God of process. God loves us so much that He wants us, you and me, to remember that He, too, took things one at a time. When He created the world in the beginning (in the book of Genesis), God took one day at a time, despite the fact that He is so powerful that He could do everything in a day or in a snap. He created everything, including us, for 6 days and on the 7th day, He rested. I hope that you will do the same thing too! I hope you will not rush in doing things in a day. I hope you will also take one at a time, and I hope you will also take time to rest— in His presence.
Sometimes God doesn't expect you to do everything in a single day. He'd like to remind you to take it easy for a while.
Little by little, we will get there! And it will be worth

If you want to read a story from the Bible about taking things one at a time, the book of Numbers chapter 33 is a good example.
Remembering Israel’s Journey
"This is the route the Israelites followed as they marched out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. At the Lord’s direction, Moses kept a written record of their progress. These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places where they stopped along the way."
Numbers 33:1-2 NLT
If we continue reading this chapter, we will see how Israelites moved from one place to another, one at a time. It shows that things have a process. And in order for the Israelites to travel from Egypt to the Promised Land, they had to travel through the wilderness, taking things one at a time, one day at a time. The Israelites had a long journey, it took them 40 years to finally reached their destination— the Promise Land. We can see here that they went one place at a time, slowly but consistently, until they arrived at their destination, where God had promised them to be.
We all have different journeys, some of which are short and some of which are long journey. Let us remember that small steps are also part of our progress. Keep going🤗
