I often want to see the good God promises right now, but sometimes God’s good answer is “not yet.” This is when I have to remember there is a timing to everything.

I know how incredibly hard it can be to be in a place of wondering and waiting. But even when we don’t understand, we must trust God’s timing is perfect.

God’s promises for you are in process. Right now. Even in circumstances you can’t see any evidence of good yet. Remember, “not yet” doesn’t mean “not ever.”

Keep holding on, friend. God isn’t done with your story.

♡I am the pile of leaves in this dress! My favorite season is here.....Yay! 🍂 Surprisely, the weather here in Alabama is giving us all the fall vibes with cool breezes and comfortable temps. I've actually started pulling out sweaters.....is it too early? 🤔 And the kids and I plan on making a bucket list this week of fun things we want to do in the next few of months.

♡ Say a prayer for moms of teenage boys! 🙏🏽 So no one was going to tell me about this stage.🤪😂 Some days we struggle but we are learning to grow through the changes together. Its so important at this age for parents to listen, offer your perspective, and give space for error. Everything is right to them and you will always be wrong until they realize otherwise. No love lost, just lessons! Ha!

♡ Firsts can be so hard! And this morning my shadow baby was not haven't it. He started 4K today! Ju was so excited in the days leading up to but nerves kicked in followed by "the meltdown." We managed to make it in time but couldn't get the before first day picture. But he is all smiles aftewards. Ice cream always helps!

♡ I woke up and chose gratefulness! Its so easy to look at everything that is not the best around me right now. My little one threw a car track at the television and broke it, my anxiety is high with concerns of the new school year, my mom is celebrating an amazing accomplishment today and I can't be there to support her and the list goes on. But I had to change my perspective on these things. The television can be replaced, I can rest that God will guide me and my kids through these challenges and while I'm not there physically with my mom on today I will be virtually screaming through the phone sharing in her joy! 😚

There's this one thing that I'm learning in this season. Getting to know God through His promises. Sometimes its easy to forget who God really is while you are waiting for Him to show up. Its seems quiet and stagnant as though He is not even there. And as much as I would like to get just a glimpse of what He is doing behind the scenes I have to trust that His sovereign care and plans for me will go beyond my expectations. His promises are already yeses! At the right time He will bring everything together.

♡ Just wanted to encourage someone today to keep your eyes on Him and continue worship in every season. XO

♡ Happy Sunday! And today it was me, Jesus, and this amazing brunch! It's been a minute since I've shared yummies here. The southern girl in me loves a biscuit and this one was over the top nothing but goodness, y'all! I particularly loved the great ambiance and the creativeness of asking the question, "If I could time travel anywhere would I go?" as my order name. Any guesses as to where I found myself going? ♡ Are my kids the only ones that wake up and ask, "So, what's the plans for the day?" They are really here trying to live their best life. Ha! While some days I enjoy the spontaneity of being able to sit back and relax without any plans boredom sets in quickly for my tribe. We have been exploring some old and new summer events since school ended. This happens to be one our city celebrates annually.

♡ Getting to know this little girl has been one of my greatest joys as a mama! She is 10 right now going on what seems to be 20. I'll look up one day and she will be. * inserts tears. Time slow down! What I love most about our bond is the transparency we have. When I look back at myself at this age I'm pretty sure I wasn't. I believe vulnerability creates intimacy for any relationship. I'm more open as a than I ever imagined I would be. Open to sharing where I am as person. And us both learning one another as we grow together.

♡ Happiest Saturday, y'all! Today I'm hanging out with two of my best friends....peace and quiet! Ha! Just call it an early Mother's day gift. My "it can wait to do list" is pushed to the side for all things my heart and mind need right now. If you have little ones you know how noisy it can be at times. So whenever or wherever I find these moments it, I'm taking them!

♡ After holding my breath I was able to take a deep sigh hearing the verdict yesterday. The fact that we still weren't 100% sure though. Definitely an enormous win in the first step to making those who vowed to protect and serve be held accountable. To value as their own. Its that for all that keeps me holding my breath. Making it the norm until we all are safe. That being said I hope this scares the ones who need to exit right off. Still so much work to do. Prayers for the family of
