Assalamuwalaikum. Tomorrow is the final day of the first Valorant Girls Tournament in Bangladesh presented by DeathNote Dreaming in association with Septem Exierant. Best wishes to the finalist teams “VPG Wasabi Sirens” and “Team Pandora” . No matter who wins tomorrow, my heartfelt congratulations to all the 15 teams (SE Alectrona, Team Celestials, Vixens, ACP Apocalypse, AE Morich Gang, Team Pandora, VPG Wasabi Sirens, NMSxStardust, Missketeers, Venom Ivy, PANTHEON, Team Hysteria, Hodgepodge, Amra Keno Kheltesi, Team Ethereal) who are registered for this tournament. As a female myself, I know very well how hard it is to play e-sports games at home. I’m very proud to let you know that you all are my champion!
Thank you so much to all the viewers who have been following this tournament and making their constructive comments. This tournament couldn't be successful without you.
Throughout this journey, I must mention some of the extraordinary individuals who have supported me and assisted me to arrange this amazing tournament.
First of all, I would like to thank my teammates from SE Alectrona - Redphoenix(Tahsin AnIka) apu, Yasho( Jesy Chakma), Ghoul(Sadia Binte Alam, Leon (Nabila Sultana Nowshin), Cherry (Farhana Nidra), Cakey , Alcatraz (Tasnia Rashid), LaraCroft (Rishat Akhi) and Tiana. I wasn’t sure if I could arrange this tournament. When I shared my idea with them, they had more trust in me than myself and told me to go ahead. Thank you so much for being with me till the end.
When I was looking for sponsors, I got rejected mostly, as no one could trust someone who is arranging this kind of tournament for the first time. I’m really grateful to Septem Exierant, especially Kaizen Vaia (SH Shagor) and Noone Vaia (Ashmit Nur) who had faith in me and offered Septem Exierant’s association to this tournament.
I would like to thank the admins and moderators of Valorant Bangladesh official community specially Rakibul Hasan Raivee vaia (whom I had knocked hundreds of times) to approve my tournament-related posts and they responded immediately.
Previously, there were only 3/4 female Valorant Rosters in Bangladesh, but I had faith that there were many female valorant gamers who play solo. I was looking for them. But they weren’t sure at first or they were feeling shy to come forward and introduce themselves. I would like to thank Aurpita Orpo (Prism of VPG Wasabi Sirens) who took the initiative first (voluntarily) to write down her name and details in the ‘finding-teammates spreadsheet’ and discord channel that she was looking for a teammate. This initiative of hers really motivated the other solo players and they started putting their names immediately. As a result, I have managed to create 10 brand new teams from the solo players.
I was looking for commentators. Thank you so much NuclearNadal Gaming vai and Umario Umar Zawad Naqvi for coming forward and making this tournament entertaining for viewers. As Nuclear Nadal Vai lives in Australia it was really hard for him to stay awake the whole night doing commentary and then go to work the next morning. I know no words that can justify your hard work. Umario, who did commentary for the first time, you were really amazing. Best wishes for your future endeavors. We get the essence of an international tournament thanks to both of you.
I would like to thank Catfish (Edam Levine) and Eoim (Ratul Hasan) and Filthy vaia who had been doing the streaming and broadcasting of the matches when I couldn’t do it myself. Thank you Morf for making all the stream overlays, banners and so on.
Potato (Sakib Hasan) vaia and Mastershifu (Farhäñ Zawàd Dip) , I'm really grateful to you. Thank you is an understatement to what you guys did for the past few days. They were doing all the verifications, monitoring and helping the players with their technical issues. Also, thank you so much Sakib vai for being the silent army in the backend and cleaning all the mess for me.
Last but not the least, I would like to thank my family who was by my side. Arranging a tournament is really hectic and a lot of work. I couldn’t do my other family responsibilities at this time. But my family was so supportive that I could give my full concentration on arranging this tournament.
Please pardon all our mistakes and technical issues.
Best wishes to all the female gamers out there! Stay Tuned to DeathNote Dreaming. Happy Gaming!
