"Ghosts of Yesterday" is the 7th video from Fatal Vision's second album "Twice" and the final chapter in the story of the main characters from this part of out ongoing story.

When we left them, after a massive blowout at a rented cottage by a lake, and then our heroine dealing with the aftermath and the memories they were left with the line "Can forgiveness come one day?"

This video answers that question, with a 20 year time jump.

Simon originally wrote this song about a true story in the 1980s.

Another of my musical heroes has been taken from us!! Original Whitesnake/David Coverdale guitarist Bernie Marsden has passed away, at the age of 72.
Along with Gary Moore, Bernie was the other main influence on my aspirations to play guitar when I was a young pup. Absolutely no words...

Happy 38th Birthday to the album that truly started this whole train running!

Of course, the debut album I did with Yngwie should take that honor but being it was only two vocal songs on it, Marching Out served as THE album that kickstarted my life as a professional singer as well as co-writer.

I’ll never forget the memories behind making this album, we were all kids then, I had just turned 19 myself when we started the album in late ’84.

To this day it remains one of the favorites from all who know of me and then some!!

Swedish AOR/Melodic Rock act Care of Night will release their third studio album via Frontiers on 17th November. Entitled ‘Reconnected’, a first single and video from it for the song ‘Street Runner’ are available today: https://youtu.be/TPaaZSWL9ko

“We are thrilled to finally be able to share new music with you,” state the band. “We have been working hard on these songs and think fans of our genre will be pleased with their variety. This album also marks a new start for Care of Night with our new line-up and record label, hence its title.” ‘Reconnected’ is indeed an absolute stormer that recreates classic ’80s melodic rock but with the addition of the band’s own modern touch; strong hooks and big arrangements with a progressive twist is the core of the band’s approach to their sound.

Formed in 2009, Care of Night released a four song EP in 2013 that made a big impact among the AOR fraternity. It was followed two years later by an acclaimed debut album, ‘Connected’, which saw them compared to the likes of Journey, FM and Toto, while a triumphant set at the 2015 edition of Rockingham cemented their international popularity. A second album, ‘Love Equals War’ (2018), was similarly enthusiastically received.

The group subsequently made some line-up changes and have re-emerged totally reinvigorated, tighter and stronger than ever and with a new album that is an absolute blast of melodies from start to finish.

Today would have been his 107th birthday.

We all grew up listening to him and he had one of the best voices ever. Some of you will say he doesn't belong here, on a Rock and Roll page. With everything he did, we would disagree.
