Christiania, the famous freetown of Copenhagen, is one of Denmark’s popular tourist attractions. It is a community on the site of a former military barracks, right in the middle of Copenhagen.

We had a great time visiting Christiania, there was plenty of street art for us to see and this beautiful wooden troll that made the perfect place for pictures.

If you love quirky places, street art, or anything off the beaten path, you need visit when you travel to Copenhagen.

One of the most beautiful places that we visited in Vancouver has got to be the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

We went during the holidays which means we got to experience their “Canyon Lights” event. You get to cross through world famous bridge which is lit from end to end with color changing lights over the Capilano River.

On the other side of the bridge you get to walk through a glittering forest and walk high above through treehouses. There are many photo ops and amazing light displays. You can also enjoy some hot chocolate and coffee in the forest.

Once you cross the suspension bridge back, you can experience “Cliffwalk”! It provides thrilling views on and it is a gravity defying walkway clinging to the granite cliff high above the Capilano Canyon.

We can’t wait to go back and visit during the day!

Need an idea on a place to visit while in Malmo, Sweden? Slottsmöllan is a windmill that stands on the Mölleplatsen – a popular place for outdoor events, located near the famous Malmo Castle.

There are many places to visit while in but we loved walking the gardens and exploring all the beautiful green spaces. That’s when we came across Slottsmöllan Mill. It is a great place to relax after a long day of exploring and a perfect place for some pictures.

Be sure to make a stop at the mill if you ever find yourself in Malmo.

Feliz Día de Los Reyes Magos! January 6 we honor the Three Wise Men. This holiday represents the day the Three Wise Men gave gifts to Jesus Christ, and this day closes the Christmas festivities!

During Día de Los Reyes Magos, Mexicans serve Rosca de Reyes, or King’s Cake (see last picture). “Rosca” means wreath and “reyes” means kings. The Rosca de Reyes has an oval shape to symbolize a crown and has a small doll inside, which represents baby Jesus. The doll figure symbolizes the hiding of the infant Jesus from King Herod’s troops. Traditionally, roscas are adorned with dried candied fruits to symbolize the many jewels that a crown would have. The person who gets the slice with the doll must host a party on Día de la Candelaria in February.

A tradition for the kids on this day is to leave your shoes by the Christmas tree and The Three Wise Men will bring you presents. 👟 👞 🎁

Last night I was invited to a Special Screening and Q&A at the Mexican Consulate to watch America’s Family.

America's Family tells the story of when ICE raided the Diaz family home on Thanksgiving, Mother Marisol is arrested and locked up in detention, her son Koke is deported to Mexico, and Father Jorge flees for protective sanctuary in a local synagogue. The two American-born children; young attorney Emiliano and his teen sister Valentina (while also managing her epilepsy) race to do whatever they can to reunite the family while their parents and brother do what they must to get home.

My little besties went on a adventure with me just to pick up all the new sippers and Minnie ears! We literally placed a mobile order from home, drove over to Toy Story parking lot to take the shuttle and picked up our orders and came straight home. Let me tell you, our trip was just as magical as any other trip!

We were invited to opening day to have an amazing Day Out with Thomas. The amount of activities that this event puts on makes for an all day event!

Not only did we take a ride inside the #1 Blue Engine Thomas! You could also take a second ride behind Thomas’ friend Percy! So many activities from fun photo opportunities, live music, balloon twister, petting zoo, you could tour the Model Railroad Exhibit, enjoy a picnic in Holstrom Park where you can bring your own food or visit the food vendors, race your family through the Hay Maze and so much more!!

Tip, get there early and enjoy all the festivities before it’s time for your train ride! Thank you for us. It was an amazing day!

A wish is a dream your heart makes! One of our biggest wishes is to visit all Disney parks across the world. This year we got to check off the one in Tokyo Disney and recently Disneyland Paris.

“Le Château de la Belle au Bois dormant” is the beautiful castle located inside Disneyland Paris. This castle is not only beautiful but also has some amazing history.

Can we talk about all the Hot dogs stands we found while visiting Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰 .

Hot dogs are the street food of choice in Copenhagen. They are served with a variety of condiments, but this particular combination is a true classic! They come with a creamy curried remoulade sauce, fresh pickled cucumbers and crispy fried onions. It might sound
a bit odd, but all of these condiments are quite common in Danish cuisine and are absolutely delicious together.

You know we are foodies, but experiencing new food while traveling is my favorite! Would you try these hotdogs?

Did we seriously buy flights to Paris at midnight and fly out that morning? Oui Oui, Mon Ami! (Yes Yes, My Friend)!

You know we love adventure and sometimes we do some crazy things like flying to Paris on a whim. Let me tell you, BEST DECISION EVER!

We had such an amazing time exploring Paris. Another core memory for Abigail & Aubrey to hopefully treasure. Taking the train and exiting near the Eiffel Tower and seeing their faces light up. Being able to share this with them and hubby was amazing.

We then took a bus to “The Arc de Triomphe”, another iconic and beautiful structure. We loved exploring Paris, seeing the beautiful streets, the water and the food!

I am so glad we decided to take this spur of the moment trip to Paris. Sometimes not having a plan makes for the best trip!
