M. U. S. A. (Museo Subacuático de Arte), dünyanın en büyük ve en iddialı sualtı sanat cazibe merkezlerinden biridir. Isla Mujeres adasının ve Cancún'daki Punta Nizuc sahilinin yakınında yer alan müze, Jason deCaires Taylor tarafından yaratılan 500'den fazla heykele sahiptir.

Müze iki galeriye ayrılmıştır. Salon ‘Machones’ sekiz metre derinliğindedir ve hem dalgıçlar hem de şnorkelciler için uygundur. ‘Nizuc’ salonu ise dört metre derinliğindedir ve sadece şnorkelli yüzme için izin verilir.

Cancún Deniz Parkı, dünyanın en çok ziyaret edilen su alanlarından biridir. Doğal kaynaklar üzerinde yer alır ve yılda 750 binin üzerinde ziyaretçiye ev sahipliği yapar.

Heykeller, mercan büyümesini teşvik etmek için istikrarlı ve kalıcı bir platform sağlayan uzun ömürlü çimentodan yapılmıştır. Doğal resiflerden aşağı doğru konumlandırılırlar, bu nedenle yumurtlamadan sonra mercanların yerleşmesi için uygun alanlar vardır.

Ünlü eserler arasında 400'den fazla bireysel heykelden oluşan 120 tonluk bir çalışma olan sessiz evrim yer alıyor. Taylor, okyanuslarını korumak için ayakta duran bir halk topluluğu oluşturmak için yakındaki balıkçı köyü Puerto Morelos'tan yaklaşık 90 gerçek model ölümsüzleştirdi.
