Are the Elections 2024 already controversial with one of the major political parties of Pakistan (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) denied an electoral symbol of Bat?

04/04/2023

Supreme Court of Pakistan has annulled the decision of Election Commission Of Pakistan - ECP with regards to delaying the elections and given a verdict to conduct elections on 14 May, 2023.

A very big decision in the Judicial and Political History of Pakistan.

May our politicians and relevant government stakeholders respect the provisions of the Constitution of Pakistan and conduct elections as per the decision of the Supreme Court.

Multan's rejection of Mehr Bano Qurshi is a slap on the face of Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Although people are supporting Imran Khan's narrative in huge numbers, PTI must realize that dynastic politics must have a limit. First Zain Qureshi and now Mehr Bano Qureshi; Is PTI out of candidates other than the Qureshi's in Multan.
The answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Returning Officer has rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate's request for the recounting of votes. It has been cited that polling agents of all the candidates were present when the result was announced and Colonel (R) Shabbir Awan has not provided enough evidences against the irregularities during the counting process.

A very important lesson that could as well be learnt from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf victory in Punjab By-Elections is that anything can be achieved through sheer hard-work and efficient team-work. Senior leadership of PTI including Ali Muhammad Khan and others carried out massive campaigns in all the constituencies of Punjab. Before the main rally of Imran Khan in a constituency, these leaders conducted small rallies there in order to ensure major mass presence when Imran Khan arrives.
After the campaign ended, main leaders of PTI were deployed in each constituency to protect the mandate of the people and to resist any chance of post-poll rigging. It, in turn, boosted the moral of the voters and supports of PTI.
PTI has learnt it, in these elections, that on-ground political struggle of the public cannot be demeaned even if the state machinery is acting against the wishes of the masses. It was indeed, a political master-class of the PTI leadership. They managed these elections really well, invested their time to the fullest and the public response was all but a clear manifestation of love, support and affection.
A huge shout-out to the silent heroes of PTI who worked day and night to achieve what has been achieved by the party now. The status-quo is all but turned down on its head, and it is indeed a big moment in the political history of Pakistan.
The ultimate sovereign in any parliamentary democracy are the people, and their decision must be respected and accepted by all.
