Today is Day 1 of my MHFA Instructor Training.

Mental Health First Aid is psychological first aid that ANYONE can be trained in. The training is evidenced-based and gives hands-on skills to be able to effectively respond to a mental health crisis.

There should be a MHFA trained person on all sets and stages!

The holidays often feel like "tis the season for grieving" am I right? There are so many triggers for our grief, around every corner. So many reminders of all the things and people we have lost; memories of what could have been and what we no longer have. It's exhausting! I hope you find some comfort in this reminder. Hang in there.

A reminder that we are entering the Holiday Season, which can be incredibly difficult and triggering for many of us. Holidays remind us of strained relationships, family disconnection and loved ones who have passed, among many other things. Be kind to yourself during this time. It's ok to put yourself first. It's ok to say no and establish boundaries.
