Heavy Road Blocked in between Pasighat to Aalo Via Pangin & between Likabali to Basar wef last 12th Augst to till date today on 24th August led to Scarcity & Close down of all Fuel Depot pasting a banner in all Pertrol Pump-- Petrol Nil,Diesel Nil. All Meat Fish,Chicken Market became Dry, No Army Convoy on the Road nor any movement of Loaded Trucks coming up from plain of Assam as 100s of Heavy,light,Govt,Private Vehicles are stranded on both end of block point causing-- Upper Subansiri Distt,Lepa Rada,West Siang,Siang,Upper Belt of Lower Siang & Shi Yomi--06 District moveless to State Capital Itanagar & vice versa for the last 2 weeks.The loose soil & rocks falling at the block points becomes endless despite engagement of Heavy Machineries for clearance. It happens purely on account of continous rain pouring down otherwise,it would have been cleared till date. No transhipment is possible except climbing up through jungle taking hours on foot bypassing block point which is not possible for all travellers due to up hills & down,mudslippery with baggages on the back.So Commuters are confronting untold hardship particularly at the 20--25 kms heavy block point fm likabali to Basar Road. Some travellers have taken risk by their light vehicles,Pvt Car,Sumos through long distance Pasighat to Aalo Basar Via Damro,Mariyang,Yinkiong,Geku,Boleng,Rumgong,Patum Bridge killing 12 --14 hrs while some from Itanagar to Basar Aalo via Ziro,Raga,Daporijo where condition of Road are horrible .The journey becomes unsafe for in both line due to potholes,mudslippery uneven surface of road in narrow road connectivity area as well as ongoing TAH cutting from Potin to Pangin in this incessant non-stop rainy days.Allas! when these block points are going to be cleared is the only waiting prayer of all stranded travellers.Great sufferers are Army Hq Aalo Brigade & Bora Ropuk Brigade where 1000s of Indian Armies are posted that involves heavy Ration Consumption daily but there is no Army Convoy nor Loaded Trucks on Army Duty for such a long period.
