And The Oscars go to Sean Anthony & Indya Chanelle for their performances in the movie "Tears For Tasha". Columbus has a lot of talent but, few really step out on a limb ie Get out of their comfort Zone to do anything extraordinary. I don't know the other actors in the movie or the producers but, I want to give them shout outs also. Great Job https://tubitv.com/movies/100021668/tears-for-tasha .
First, I have to give Sean a shout out. I have known him for many years. He has always been a great supporter of my many exploits - beginning here in Columbus when he was a Dj on the radio. Several years later he was on a radio station in Virginia. I called him up and told him I had a new wild and crazy girl group called *Eve and asked him could he help me with radio and help promote the girls in his city and he said "Sure". The group was a little controversial and I was having trouble getting any airplay - they were not on a major label but, my very own - distributed by *Ichiban Records. So we packed up the maxi van me and 5 extremely tall and vivacious young ladies, traveled to Virginia and hung out with Sean - he interviewed the girls on the radio and created a performance for them that night at a very posh local club there. Years later back here in Columbus I called him and asked him would he be the MC for our very first STARS fundraiser at which he said yes and did (He is in the photo in the back wearing a white headband - others seen would later become members of the group *Fatty Koo). Most recently he hosted a young band I represent called *TKB (aka) The kid brothers at the Ohio Media School where he is the Director and interviewed them on the radio at last years *Funk Fest* here in Columbus before their performance.
I never knew he could act - tonight he made me a believer. But, I will say more about that later.
Secondly, I have to give a serious Kudo to Indya Chanelle. This very beautiful and talented young singer has also been a member of our STARS program "Love her to death".. She would make me sooooo mad because, this girl can really sing but, I would want her to do scales and vocal exercises at home and she wouldn't .And then she would come back to the studio with her little cute smile & Jazzy attitude and go about her business- as if "I ain't studying you Chris". In retrospect - I was really trying to change her style and now her style is "On Time". Now she is a young actress also.. I am so proud of you.
I am proud of both you and Sean. I should be in bed now but, I could not go to sleep watching you guys.. I really enjoyed your performances and want others to know about.. It is on Tubi people.. Check them out. Wishing all that were involved in this endeavor much success and happiness.
