A big mahalo to all those that came and showed lahi lahi some much needed love today. Started out with clearing an abandoned camp site of all the opala left behind by its houseless occupant. With the past days rains, the battle to keep the greenery down continues. From cutting grass, to pulling out grass stumps to make way for new life to occupy its space, these keiki’s and makua’s worked together to prepare to bring more life in the up coming months to this very special place in makaha. Join us on the first sundays, and fourth Saturday of every other month to continue to bring life back to this space so that we all can enjoy its beauty. Big mahaloz to kimiona and the crew for coming out to help mālama ‘āina with us, we hope to see you guys at the next one!

When the idea for the mahi ‘ai krew design came to mind, I thought about it like this, to be a mahi ‘ai literally means to be a cultivator (mahi) of food (‘ai). But the deeper meaning I took to it this, if you plant a seed or an idea in someone’s mind you are The cultivator of that idea, now to watch it grow into something is relatable to growing food that feeds a person, you have not only that persons mind but that person soul. Like being a farmer you planted the seed, watered it, gave it light and fertilized it to help that person grow with the hopes that now this person will do the same for the next. We are all mahi ‘ai in this day n age and it is all of our responsibilities as hawaiians to not only feed our peoples bodies, but to also feed their souls DM me to get your shirts today, and represent that mahi ‘ai in your heart and soul 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Whoa man! What an awesome turn out for today, plenty opala removed from the mauna. From cutting grass to colecting trash, we had it goings on! Mahalo plenty to the outreach folks from keala hou that came out and talk story with the houseless people on the mauna to try and get them some help.

As we journeyed through ancient greece and discovered its secrets, we went far beyond and entered the realms of the gods.
