I'm working on a new episode for "Am I Old Yet?" to submit to for a live performance. It's entitled "What Would Helen Do", and various characters seek advice from Helen on a range of problems they have. Anyone care to suggest some challenges for her to tackle? And who is asking her to tackle them? So far we have Janey looking for a recipe, and Susie wanting a cat-minder. Need to up the stakes somewhat!!

The third - and most EXCITING YET - AUDIO DRAMA PODFEST is swooshing, sliding and gently smashing with the best of foley intentions into HIGH WYCOMBE'S RIVERSIDE CLUB this NOVEMBER 2ND from 11am- 9pm.

What is it?
A podcast festival for audio drama creatives by day and for fans too by night.

Who can go?
Anyone interested in networking with other audio drama folks, anyone making or thinking of making audio drama, and after 6pm invite fans of audio drama to come and watch some superb live shows.

What's happening during the event?
There are panels on SOUND DESIGN and FUNDRAISING, and there are workshops on PRODUCING AUDIO DRAMA, WRITING, EDITING AND VOICE ACTING. Folks in attendance will judge our 60-90 sec SOUND EFFECTS, BREATH, MUSIC AND SILENCE competition, and there will be plenty of time for chatting!

What else is happening of note?
We are truly excited that the wonderful Nicholas Briggs of BIG FINISH and DR WHO will be our keynote speaker. Do not miss this man, myth, legend talk all of the audiodraminate he can muster - or some such.

We made a 'proof of concept' trailer for the crowdfunding campaign, and you get to hear it first. Featuring Christopher McDougall - Actor as Duncan, Wendy Lap as Heather (in Scotland), Sarah Golding as Julianna, Tayo Aluko as Ade, Frankii Phoenix as Sammy (actually, no, it's me trying to sound like her just for this recording, because she's out of the country at the moment!) - and they are somewhere in England, Andrea Richardson as Caroline (also somewhere in England), and me as Margot (Zooming in from Brisbane).
