Daniel Grey is a thoughtful, confident Businessman. His love for his son fights to outweigh the struggles of his past. His life is turned upside down when his past comes back to haunt him. We’re excited for you to find out more about Mr. Grey when On Borrowed Time releases in 6 days!!

Next is Mac! He is played by Joshua Hawn, who was an extra in Intellectual Property and also starred in Out Cold.

“Mac is someone who is driven by revenge, which clouds his judgment. His daughter is the only thing keeping him from giving himself to his worst impulses." -Joshua Hawn.

Mac is such an interesting character and we were blown away by Josh’s performance. We can’t wait for you all to be able to learn more about Mac in 7 days!!!

Sophie is another one of the leading characters in On Borrowed Time. She is played by Abby Kopkie, who was an extra in Intellectual Property and also made an appearance in Out Cold.

“Sophie is a bold and determined character. She’s snarky and a little bit dramatic. In a way, she tries to act detached and unbothered, but deep down, she is really affected by everything she is going through and that definitely shows.
Throughout the film, she struggles with coming to terms with her father not being who he says he is. I think she is angry with him for lying to her but she is also angry with herself for not seeing the extent of it all sooner. This forces her to find the courage to stand up and do the right thing, even though it will turn her whole world upside down. There is a lot more I'd love to say, but I’ll keep quiet to avoid spoilers. You’ll just have to watch the movie to learn more about her.😉” -Abby Kopkie

Creed is another one of the leading characters in On Borrowed Time. He is played by Paul Murrell, who also starred in Black Sheep.

Creed is a bold, aggressive character who succeeds in intimidating the other characters, and probably the audience as well! He is dedicated to his job and not afraid to do the dirty work.
Paul’s enthusiasm and sacrifice for playing the role of Creed is much appreciated and shows in his performance.

I am sure most of you have heard something about On Borrowed Time by this point. It is Ztake’s second feature length film and is set to premiere in less than a month! *cue excited screaming*
The premiere will be held on October 29th at the Park Rapids Armory at 6pm followed by a November 3rd 7pm showing at the Park Rapids Theater.
On Borrowed Time is an action/drama featuring a kidnapping, family issues, an interesting clash of characters, high stakes, betrayal, suspense, violence, and deception.
We have spent countless hours on this movie and cannot wait to show it to all of you!

Nick is one of the leading characters in On Borrowed Time. He is played by John VanGelderen, who also also starred in Intellectual Property.

Nick is a conflicted character that has a bad tendency of getting in with the wrong people. Although crude and ruthless, Nick has secrets from his past that complicate his future. Nick is strong-willed, epic, and a fun character to follow throughout the film. John has done an amazing job portraying such a vital character. We’re so excited for you to meet Nick, along with the other characters.

Intellectual Property was released one year ago today. We didn’t necessarily have an idea of what would come next, but looking back we’re pretty proud of what we’ve done since then. We’ve released numerous short films,(including a sequel to IP) and at the end of the month another full length film hits the big screen!

Without all of the oreos, coffee, cream soda, redbull, and snacks none of this would have been possible. 😉 kidding! All the thanks are to our dedicated cast and crew members, and those close to us. Without your support and positive feedback, none of this would have been possible. We cannot thank you enough.

Warren Grey is the main character in On Borrowed Time. He is played by Tucker Keysor, who also played Justin in Intellectual Property and has starred in all of our short films.
“I would say that Warren is an ego addict, constantly chasing an ego high from everything. Watches, cars, cologne. You name it he has it. He feels like in order to be someone, he has to have something. He almost does it out of insecurity. He keeps himself on top by keeping everyone else down. Either by blatant bragging or nonchalant flexing. It's this chronic itch that's only scratched by making people completely irrelevant in his life. That being said, he's hurt. He doesn't trust people. His mom died and he never fully recovered or addressed the emotions from that. Through the events of the movie, it finally clicks for him. This "Warren centered" world was fake, imaginary, almost mirage-like. Realizing he neglected his dad and others close to him. He tries to change in an effort to feel less alone.” -Tucker Keysor.
