The Bethpage Softball program is hosting a FREE winter skills clinic.

The Clinic will be run by Bethpage Softball coaches and players and is open to all K-7th grade girls who are interested in softball.

This is a great opportunity for girls who have never played the sport before as well as those who have and are looking to learn some new skills.

The clinic will run on February 25th at the following times:

Location: Kramer Lane

6u (K&1st) - 3PM - 4:30PM

8u (2nd & 3rd) - 4:30 PM - 6PM

10u (4th&5th) and 12u(6th&7th) - 6:30PM - 8PM

All participants in the clinic must be registered for the spring intramural season. If you are not yet registered you can register here: Intramural Registration.

Each girl will need to bring their own glove, fielder's mask & water bottle. If they wish to bat, they will need to bring a batter's helmet as well. We will have some extra bats on hand for girls to use if they do not have their own.

Playing our usual country tunes plus a few extra Christmas specials! This is also a TOYS FOR TOTS fundraiser, so if you have any extra toys laying around -- feel free to bring an unwrapped gift!

Bethpage Baseball and Softball would like to support the community that has always supported us.

On Saturday, December 10th, Santa and his helpers will be in your neighborhood visiting homes in exchange for giftcards. The giftcards will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul Society who will distribute them to local families struggling this Holiday Season. Our sponsor, Xtraire Heating & Air Conditioning Company is going to match all of the gift cards that are collected, dollar for dollar. If you are interested in helping us out, here are the details:

1. Reply to [email protected] with your name, address, phone number, and a requested time slot:

10:00-12:00, 12:30-2:30, 3:00-5:00, 6:00-9:00

Times will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. You will receive a confirmation email with your time slot. Please include your children's names in the email too please.

2. Santa and his helpers will show up to your house, greet you & your family, give out some treats and take as many pictures as you would like. We spend about 15 minutes at each house.

3. The pictures will be taken by you and/or our crew using your own cameras and/or camera phones.

4. If the weather cooperates, we can take the photos inside or out, but if not, we will need to take the pictures inside your house so we don't show up at the next house wet and muddy.

5. The gift cards should be for local stores such as Target, Walmart, etc. We are not asking for a specified amount. Give what you can. Every little bit helps.
