This quote by resonated so heavily with me (Amy), after we recently received a new diagnosis for Jack that was once again presented as an option to the doctors by me after endless research and symptom tracking. Our pod guest Jorden .journey also talked about the hours spent researching, advocating, and ultimately finding a diagnosis for her boy Lincoln on our latest episode, a must listen if you haven't yet tuned in!

We see you, we understand the frustration, and we want you to know you're not alone. This is a reminder that you are enough, and your child is so lucky to have you in their corner, fighting the fight, every single day 💪

HB to our Queen 👸

Grecian you bring a sense of warmth, honesty and fun to our lives, you make us laugh, cry, dance and cringe 🤭, you are inspirational, humble and fierce. We love you and EVERYTHING you bring to our cherished little community. Thankyou for being my friend, my confidant, my pillar, and for always bringing the lols at the exact moment I need them. RAWR wouldn't be the same without you.

We hope you're home soon with Riley Bear and that you ate all your current feelings 🎂😆 We are so endlessly proud of you 🤍 Here's to another 50+ episodes🎙

Grab a coffee (or a wine if needed 🤭) and enjoy this chat between friends - it's a goodie!

This episode really does have a bit of everything, including Jorden's fight for a diagnosis from the very beginning for her handsome boy Lincoln, sibling comparisons, diving deep down the medical/disability rabbit hole (if you know, you know), finding a community who get it, and her passion for raising awareness and connecting with others in this space. Jorden is so down to earth and so damn relatable! We know you'll love her as much as we do!

N E W E P I S O D E I S L I V E 🎙

We had a very special guest join us for this episode – our friend Lizzy, AKA , who is super vulnerable in sharing her experience of being a full-time carer to her daughter Georgia. Lizzy breaks down the walls – and the stigma – and shares some hard (but oh so relatable) truths about losing her identity, the constant fight in all areas of her life, and her struggle every day to wake up and do it all over again. There’s no bu****it here, it’s honest and raw, and we are so thankful for her vulnerability (but don’t worry, there’s still plenty of giggles!)

We're coming BAAAAACK baby!

After a longer than expected hiatus due to an overwhelming medical mama life load (we KNOW you guys get it), we're coming back for what we've decided to call season two, cos that makes it sound totally planned and under control 😂

While managing a pod is HARD freaking work as two mama's with children with a disability and medical needs, we are so thankful that YOU make it easy. Thankyou for the messages encouraging us to keep going, and for giving us a kick up the backside to keep bringing you the content that is so desperately needed in our community.

Let's do this RAWR-ers. Who's in?!

20,000 DOWNLOADS 💞

Well, this deserves a big fat spot on our feed!! We couldn't be prouder, more full of love, or more THANKFUL to YOU, our listeners. The ones who stream our episodes each week, who nod (and cry) along, who share us with others in this space, who subscribe, who write reviews, who inbox us their deepest feelings, who give us feedback and content in our RAWR-ers facebook group, who truly know and feel and GET IT 🤍

We wouldn't be here without our guests, the strongest people we know, the ones who push through the trauma, the heartache and the pain to give back, to be the light and the hope in the darkest days for others. Thankyou for your bravery and your courage, for your vulnerability and your rawness, it is reaching and helping so many.

We started this pod to bring a sometimes lonely community together, to talk about the s**t that isn't represented in mainstream media or even enough on social media, to break through the misconceptions and to say a big f**k off to the stigma that surrounds infertility, premature birth, disability and child loss. It's not easy, but it's bloody worth it for every single person who stands beside us and comes after us. You are never alone. We see you, we've got you.

If you haven't listened, this is a snapshot of our latest episode with our brave friend Emma 🤍

"It’s been a long time between posts on this platform, but with the upcoming release of a pod interview I did with the girls at .thepodcast I thought it was time for a no bu****it check-in!

I am almost 23 weeks pregnant with baby girl #3, which is super terrifying and exciting all at the same time.

In this podcast interview, we chat all things high-risk pregnancy and mental health.

I wish I could say that this pregnancy has been smooth sailing, and I was loving being pregnant, but that would be the biggest lie.

This pregnancy is s**t, and once again I find myself battling to keep this little girl alive in this hostile uterus of mine.

I am so thankful that I am able to be pregnant, but after the loss of Willow and knowing what could come, this pregnancy has bought a whole new level of anxiety and stress.

I do not have the guarantee of a healthy baby to look forward to at the end of this , and it feels at times as if I’m carrying around a time bomb that is waiting to go off at anytime.

High-risk pregnancy is no bloody joke, and can be a real downer on anyone’s mental health and well-being.

I am unable to live my normal life. Unable to exercise, pickup Hazel, and do the things I would normally love to do.

Is this all worth it knowing you get a healthy happy baby out of it at the end? ABSOLUTELY. But when you know this may not be the case, it is a kick in the guts over and over again.

I am thankful, pi**ed off, anxious, excited and frightened all at the same time - and on top of the already high pregnancy emotions, that can be a lot to carry.

Being pregnant isn’t always that beautiful journey that people expect you to have and be having, and it’s not ever just as simple as being grateful for being able to be pregnant.

I am grateful, and would never want to come across as not being so. But f #+k me, this s**t is hard and society needs to lower its expectations big time."

Emma's BAAACK! RAWR's original co-host Emma came back for a 'no bu****it' check-in and to once again break the stigma surrounding some very important and poignant topics. We laughed, we cried and we didn't hold back talking about the anxiety and trauma of high-risk pregnancy after loss, as well as the lack of control and heartache we feel when things don't go the way we hoped. Emma talks about her struggles with societal expectations of pregnancy and birth and what that should look like, and how heartache and gratefulness can co-exist. Her words are powerful and need to be heard far and wide. What a woman.

Emma's BAAAACK! We laughed, we cried, and we dived straight back in the deep end talking about high-risk pregnancy after loss, traumatic birth, societal expectations of motherhood and how it feels when it doesn't go the way we had hoped. There are so many powerful words in this one that I swear should be on billboards everywhere! Emma started this pod to break the stigma surrounding these topics, and gosh she does it so bloody well. Episode drops Tuesday, don't miss it ⏰️

Happy Feeding Tube Awareness Week!

In honour of FTAW, we invited the incredible powerhouse Sarah from onto the pod. Sarah is such a good time, she found a gap in the market as a consumer - she wanted and needed a product for her own tube fed child and couldn’t find – so she created it! We will let the expert herself tell you all about it during the episode, but in a nutshell, Wholesome Blends is real food for tubies.

We chat with Sarah about her journey to tube feeding her son Lewis, to creating her successful enterprise, and her tips and tricks on starting out with blends.

Sarah is back later this week for a BONUS episode to help us debunk some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding tube feeding – what a week it's going to be!!

It's Feeding Tube Awareness Week (FTAW) 🥳

The next is a fun BONUS ep with Sarah AND everyone's favourite Melanie Dimmitt from , where we break down and debunk the myths and misconceptions of tube feeding by sharing our own experiences and stories.

This week we talk about advocating and fighting for your child (we've all been there), the many different factors that come into play, and how it's not always as simple and easy as it seems. Alongside our own experiences, we break down the six main 'negative' themes identified in the blog titled 'The how to advocate for your child one' by Penny from .happens that parents have encountered when in hospital with their sick child.

Disclaimer: the purpose of this episode is not to 'bag out' healthcare professionals or systems, but to give families a voice and shine a light on some of the ways that we struggle to advocate and feel heard when our child is unwell.
