Here is a list of the top 5 things you can do today to ensure your account is secure to start.
Over the last year, we have had an increase of clients come to us for assistance getting back into their Facebook accounts due to hacking or some other account issue. Our success rate sits at 90% but we can't always help. We are here to guide you but there are certain settings that you can stabilize now to make sure you don't fall victim to these issues.
#1. Never give someone or business your password. This goes for personal and business accounts. If you are working with an agency or person, there are ways to delegate specific access for whatever you are working with them on. Your accounts are yours. Flag #1 is if they ask you for that information. Do yourself a favor and move to the next prospect.
#2. Secure your accounts. Add 2 factor authentication, or any other backup method in case you run into login issues. Use mobile and desktop apps to make sure both are fluid and secured. Make sure your account email and phone number are always current and up to date.
#3. Do not click links before you verify.
Verify emails or notifications that appear to be from Meta or Facebook either through email or in the app itself. Look for misspellings in the communications received and ensure that its a valid platform email before you proceed.
#4. Don't try to reset your password more than 1x! More often than not repeated requests to access will lock your account thus furthering the hole you are in. You could be stuck in a pending que or locked for a very long time. I know it's hard but trust me here. Move away from the computer and give it 24-48 hours rest before trying again. Clean your cache, open up a new session, and try again.
#5. If all else fails and you know you are hacked, go to www.facebook.com/hacked and file a report. You can also have a friend or family help you if you can still "see" your account from a public view.

Meta Updates TOS and also allows you to use Oculus Quest 2 with or without a Facebook Account! From Meta:
"We want to give you more choices over how you express yourself in VR, and to do so we’re making changes to our Meta VR platform in August 2022. Along with these changes, we’re also updating our Supplemental Oculus Terms of Service and related Commercial Terms, and Supplemental Oculus Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review these updated documents, and the summary below of upcoming Meta VR platform changes:

• A Facebook account is no longer required to use Meta VR devices. Instead, you’ll need to set up a Meta account, which lets you log into
your VR devices and view and manage your purchased apps in one
place. You can set up a Meta account using your email address or Facebook account, and as part of the process we’ll migrate your
existing VR information (including apps, achievements, and friends) to this account.

We want to be clear about how our products work and the data they
collect, so you can make informed choices about how you use them. Here
are the main things to know about the updates to our Supplemental
Terms of Service and Supplemental Data Policy, which will go into effect
on August 9, 2022 or when the Meta account is available, whichever is the later date.

• Name change: The Supplemental Oculus Terms of Service and Supplemental Oculus Data Policy have been renamed to Supplemental Meta Platforms Technologies Terms of Service and Supplemental Meta Platforms Technologies Privacy Policy. We have also made other

Meta Terms of Service and Meta Privacy Policy will apply to you. If you use Meta VR products for commercial purposes, then the Commercial Terms
also apply to you, which have also been updated to provide additional
clarity on commercial use of Meta VR products for location-based experiences, arcades, trainings, and demonstrations.

We’ll notify you when the Meta account is available so you have more
