Hello!! It me! I’m writing this because I’ve been feeling it in my bones this past month ✨I want to work with a couple that is excited to host a big tiny wedding for their close family & friends. Somewhere in the low 50s?!?

The couple values
- their faith
- parents
- family - one big family reunion

We might be the right fit if this sounds like your wedding:
- Intimate weddings & a secluded ceremony is something special to you.
- Honoring your parents in a private outing that’s separate from your wedding.
- You have crazy-cool siblings & you are the cool uncle/aunty of the family.
- This is one big long table backyard type of shindig of a reception!

Harvest Widow | Frames |

Every year from August to October, the wine industry experiences non-stop production to harvest grapes for next year's vintage of wine. As most winemakers are dedicating their lives for a three month period, the wives are left alone to take care of the family adopting a term called, "Harvest Widow". Lois Cho was brought into the mix by her husband's audacious love toward wine. This formed a bit of resentment for quite some time, but slowly brought Lois to a new discovery.

This documentary was brought to life by a random DM to of ! I asked Lois if they would love to partner on a project for a competition by . And she said yes!

The story of this short documentary was found during day of production. People were talking about a term called Harvest Widow. I was curious to ask Lois what that was & it opened up a storyline of mental health, single parenting, & how grueling harvest time is for a spouse.

We can’t wait to share this film with you all!

I’ve been learning a lot how to use & shape light. Rather than pointing the lens at which ever way I want, and praying for something nice, I consciously think how is light being displayed around me.

This is something I did not think about last year. My images were either good or just flat, but mostly flat.

In these stills at , I used this shoot as an exercise to practice contrast between light/dark areas & slashes of light.

I’m really happy with these shots & how more of a dimension they have :)

I just wanted to share that our documentary, Kneading Love, has been accepted to .documentary.film.fest on October 7th in Dalles, Oregon. It is the first in-person film festival we received acceptance too & Im so excited to attend my first ever film festival!

This project was a client success story for Building Improvement Program.

- This interview was all natural using a large flag to soften the key side on our subject's face
- We had our subject sit in the L-Shape of the room to give depth in the frame
- We used sound blankets due to the restaurant's concrete flooring.
- The glass vases were all placed to fill empty spaces in frame.

Knead Love - From mental health therapist to Portland’s most unique pizzeria. This film tells the story that sometimes leaving a long lived career can have the most surprising rewards.

There’s a reason why I moved to Portland, Oregon to direct an unpaid project. I saw bits of Hapa Pizza’s story in my own film career. And sometimes you just have to do something that seems risky & financially stupid. Here I am! I finished a film & got into a film festival.

Let’s talk wedding videography for a quick second!

I think the reason why wedding videographers quit after the first year is because they haven’t figured out their style. It’s so easy to consume wedding content & try to do what’s cool but you forget YOU in all that you do! You burn out. And you lose yourself in the work.

The #1 advice I have told myself before I started this is to find my style quickly or else I won’t last very long!

I am so excited for this year’s wedding films because I found my style that aligns to whom I am. I am quiet, sensitive to emotions, & I desire moments to be special.

We are going into year 2 after doing some experiments… last summer, I dreamed big & I’m so thankful for the couples who bought into that vision! Things are being refined, but everything is so clear.

The wedding space ain’t ready for these next wedding films. :)

Today… WE FINISHED SHOOTING OUR DOCUMENTARY FOR ! Ahhhh!

In October, I flew to Portland, Oregon with a dream to create a pitch trailer on a documentary that felt out of my league and a bit ambitious. I remember creating these notes on the plane ride home thinking, “how the heck will I do this.” I ventured into this project solo and within the past 6 months:
- built long lasting relationships
-raised $4,500
- learned new skills on how to pitch, direct, communicate creative vision & work with others!
- drove 2,267 miles for this documentary
- moved into a new home
- experience the launch of a new restaurant

A huge thank you to for being a place of community. This film has been a collaboration with filmmakers in AOD who have been so gracious enough to tell Aaron & Natalie’s story:

Reel, relationships, & reputation or the 3 R’s explained in .

As we transition to post production for documentary, the more I realize Hapa Pizza’s success was built around the relationships of the community: family, friends, agencies, other businesses and more!

This documentary is the same. My mom told me, “how are you going to have others help you? You don’t know anyone!” As stubborn as I am would always reply, “I know a way! Trust me.” 4 months later, I have met incredible people who have volunteered with the shooting of specific scenes.

This documentary started out as a solo venture, but is becoming a collective effort. (A lot like Ashe Ketchum in Pokémon 😎)

The best stories are often found from the most random of occurrences. The boys at told me about their friendship with a farm, and I had to visit!

What was supposed to be a 2 hour meet up… ended up being 4 hours - hearing story & seeing the energy of their people made me stay longer. More to come from this tiny farm!

A few weeks ago, I had a call with someone who asked me, “why food & video? Why did you start a bit later in life?”. Ever since that call I’ve been thinking about my why.

A lot of my story & video journey is wrapped around several things:

- my learning disability & low performance in school
- finding food & cooking as my outlet
- my depressive/suicidal past

This year, my number one goal is to be connected with my why! There’s a reason why I love hearing people’s stories & I’m so eager to share the stories of those in the food industry. I’m scratching the surface, and I hope to be deeply connected with myself so that I can be a more powerful & empathetic storyteller.

Here are my goals big & small! :)

A few weeks ago I was able to work with on creating a new employee orientation video program for when they hire 60-100 seasonal employees for their annual pumpkin patch.

This 30 minute video program is great because Kenny is able to talk about the history of the farm, working at the pumpkin patch, and being a key role during their most visited time of the year.

I believe every business big or small should offer orientation videos because it frees up your time & energy when onboarding.
